Sorry for leaving you in the lurch, I had to go to work.

We started getting snow around 10AM maybe. It's beens snowing since but not amounting to much. I think we've got 2 inches maybe.

Some fruity drink sounds about perfect right about now. Or maybe I should break out the blender and make some milkshakes.

4-5 cups of CLEAN snow
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar

Mom used to make it but don't remember if this is how she did it.

It's still snowing here. It was suppose to stop at 7pm but it doesn't look like it will any time soon.

And I must give a big thank you to D&D. Because of her, we just save over $300 on our vacation. I thought we had to buy 5 day tickets with our pin code. She reminded me to check since she didn't. Sure enough, we could downgrade our tickets.

D&D told me that she didn't need to buy 5 day tickets with her pin code and I should check on mine. Sure enough, I didn't and saved over 300 by downgrading our tickets to what we actually needed.

Night Pike---HI everyone else. I'm tired tonight too. I didn't do too much shoveling...not even half my driveway but the wind was very bad and cold. I had to do it in 3 layers to get it down. The wind was throwing it back on me too. Plus it was up to my shoulders where I was throwing it! Hope the neighbors show up with the blowers tomorrow! I'm really not in much hurry to clean it off. I guess the law is sidewalks have 24 hrs after it stops. We've has 3 storm over a foot of snow this winter and this is our snowiest Feb ever.

Gina, are you registered at the Disney site? If you are, price out and save some vacations on there. Almost everytime I do that, I end up getting some kind of code in an email.

The plows are constantly going up and down our street. DH is suppose to work tomorrow. I hope the roads are open by then.

How much did you get JO? I live on a back street but it does look like it came. I did not see it though. It's usually just a pickup with a plow on the front in my neighborhood. No school...I wanted to sub at my old school.

We live on a major road that is also a huge hill.

We got 17 1/2 inches this time.

It's good that it's a road they keep open. I know some around here won't get opened until tomorrow. Some of the neighborhoods have no place to put the snow from the parking places. I'll probably wait until Sat to go to Mom's...depends upon how they clean her alley. No one is to put chairs to save their street spaces but I can see why they do it.
I have not heard the official total for here yet.
