Everyone was talkative last night. Of course my computer is taking forever to upload pages. :headache:
We have stayed at the All Star Music. Was quiet and we we saw an aardvark. :)
Now that I'm here I have to leave. DH wants to go grocery shopping

It sounds like JO was trying to talk Kitty into going...did it work? :surfweb:
I really would not mind going alone I think. You can do as you please...use those single lines...do as you please...My mom does not like MK and it's my fav. I just cannot enjoy it with her attitude. I haven't done the rides there for a year.

Got this from TV web site...I told you those groundhogs didn't know beans:
Groundhogs across Pennsylvania make their weather predictions, but they don't all agree.

FOX43 went out to Jefferson County, where Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow. That means six more weeks of weather. More than 10,000 people braved the nippy weather to see the famous groundhog.

Dover Doug agrees with Punxsutawney Phil. He also saw his shadow and quickly went back to bed.

Poor Richard, who has been stuffed for a number of years, did not see his shadow at the York Elks Club. Octoraro Orphie also failed to see his shadow at the 102nd gathering of the Slumbering Groundhog Lodge of Quarryville. (Both of these guys are a little more south of me so that may be the reason???)

Afternoon ladies...I was going to ask how Groundhog festivities went and now I don't have to! Its been a miserable winter so far, I think it will last and last....ugh.

You know, I love animals as much as anyone...but PETA really has to take a chill pill. They want an animatronic groundhog coz they object to using a real groundhog! Come on now, its called Groundhog Day...not fake furry electronic creature day.

Of course I have been thinking about a solo trip since last night. Airfare still isn't cooperating...but I'm with you M&N...I could do a solo trip. My only issue would be at meal times. When I have to eat by myself, I usually bring reading material, otherwise I'm just staring at other diners, which can be uncomfortable.

I spent a day at Universal by myself and I had a lovely time. It was awkward at first waiting on line and having no one to chat with, but strolling around was just fine.

I've only taken Disney buses a few times, and they were not great experiences. Last time, we took a bus from Sports to MK, which was fine since it was later in the day and the bus was open. Coming back, though, we were approaching the bus stop and the driver saw us and told us to come with him, bypassing the line. Boy were people openly hostile! I know it embarrasses BF, while it just annoys me. We were glad we had a rental the rest of the trip...but I think if it were just me, the bus situation would be easier.

Wait...has Wendy been around anywhere?

Lost comes back tonight! So excited!

Okay.... so I make my WDW ressies and get myself a new ticker. Then DH and I are talking this morning and I told him how this year's TK meet includes a bunch of new TKers and it seems to be growing by the minute. Then he proceeds to say "Would you rather go to Hershey in June than WDW in Aug?" What???? Are you playing with my mind here????

Now what do I do???? Can't do both. :confused3

I'm worried that he's going to change his mind about going in Aug. because its so hot. :scared:

Oh wow, D&D...I say you just jump in the car with DL55 and catch a ride.

Having to choose between us AND Disney? My first instinct was to scream "Disney!" but this meet is shaping up to be pretty fantastic....

I guess I'm no help at all.

Unfortunately, we'll be going through Wisconsin after the meet. I'm afraid to ask DH to re-do his plans. :scared:
Apparently, 3 days before your 55th birthday your mind turns to mush. I did NOT see an aardvark. I saw an armadillo. :rotfl:

(Even if you won't pick me up:sad1:)

This is going to take some thought.

You better go to Disney or I'll.....I don't know what but it will involve Mickey Ears, a Mickey ice cream, a turkey leg and a Dole whip.

D&D, that is one heck of decision you have to make. I can't give you any advice on what to do. But I know you'll choose wisely.

MK, I've seen Wendy around on facebook. I'll remind her to check in.

Got a question for all of you. If you could only eat one table service meal in WDW, where would you pick and why?

We have the free quick service plan right now and if we don't upgrade, we will still want to eat at one or 2 table service restaurants. The only problem is deciding what places.

Our favorite place is O'hanas but DD13 is a vegetarian and she will not ask for a special meal. Her choice not to ask and I won't force her to do it to make the rest of us happy.

So, what do you all think?

ooh, JOCA, that's a really good questions. Can I have a few choices? I'd say 50s prime time, Boma, Princess Breakfast in Norway for now. Let me think about it. All had good food.

Just recently read a trip report from a woman who is a vegan and she said that she had a great meal at the Flying Fish. It was a pasta with veggies dish and the OP said it was the best she's ever had.

Boma is the buffet at AKL? Is the food really strange there?

We've done breakfast and dinner at Norway. Found them both to be good of what little we ate. That was during the time that the little ones were big into the Princesses so that was our focus.

Boma is the buffet place. DD would be able to find a lot of choices there, lots are veggie based. I found the food to be delicious and only a few things not recognizable. Our waiter was really good about explaining the choices, and there are cooks behind the stations you can always ask.

They had this corn pudding that was so good, and I found the prime rib to be excellent. And don't even get me started on the desserts! It also serves breakfast, but we haven't tried it yet, but I want to.

When we werer there, Kat Cora opened a restaurant on the Boardwalk. Its Greek based, which would have some veggie choices...

Is that a threat or are you just trying to get rid of me????

I'd love to eat at Cat Cora's place. I know DH would get a kick out it from watching her on tv. And there are a few promising entrees on there for DD.

I'll have to keep Flying Fish in mind too.

I know DD will have plenty of places she can eat at and it helps that she still eats seafood. The whole problem is narrowing all these choices into one or two.

If you didn't have a car, I'd say try to stick to restaurants in the parks, as we found getting from hotel to hotel a big pain since there's no direct way. Are you more interested in the experience or the food? Are buffets preferred or out?
