Just thought I would pop in here quick now. DH, DS and I all ended up catching it in the middle of Monday night. Everyone spent yesterday in bed. 2 of the girls are still home from school today but should be able to go back tomorrow.

Wendy, I'll be praying for your dad. Stay strong.

I don't think I'll mention the hot dogs. DH has to have one once a week. I doubt I'll get to try the wings as DH doesn't eat them either. <sigh> I wish he were more adventurous with food. Well at least he does like to travel.

I just want to confirm that most TKers will be at Hersey between June 22 & 25? To lazy to go back and look for the info.

Afternoon ladies! I woke up with a terrible migraine this morning, but its slowly going away with much salt and caffeine. That's what I crave...despite the loudness of the crunching of chips, it seems to settle me.

JOCA...so sorry that everyone caught the bug but that you're on the road to recovery. Take your time cleaning up...you're probably still pretty weak from taking care of everyone!

My family will be in the Hershey area from June 20-25. If I am remembering past conversations I think June 24th was going to be the day that everyone meets at Hershey.

Wendy will hopefully be able to make it that day but she can't make it any earlier then that.

Jo is only in the area until the 25th.

M&N was good for almost any day.

Magikitty is staying from like the 23rd or 24th through the weekend, I think.

So I'm pretty sure it was the 24th being Hershey Park Day.

M&N, you're keeping track aren't you?

We need everyone's dates. We need to decide a picnic date too. It is very hard to keep together at the park. We had some here, some there and meet at different times.

We plan on going to Hershey twice, 22nd and 24th. According to the ticket information I think we are going with the 2 day flex ticket. With that ticket we can get in the park the night before on Hershey for about 3hrs before the closing time plus do our 2 days. We also have plans to go to Gettysburg one day, we might do the double decker bus tour.

I think the 23rd sounds good for a picnic. I'll have to bring it up to DH to see if he is OK with that.

Poor baby! And you need no commitment for the meet. You know how several (no names but not me) of us have this compulsion to plan....You can just show up. There will be hotel rooms somewhere and we will fight over holding Walter!

Just brought up the cookout/picnic to DH he said "As long as it's not on Tuesday or Thursday then that is fine." He also said "What do we do, just buy something once we are there?" I told him that M&N was going to check to see what stores were in the area. He's on board.

It's looks like it will take us about 8hrs to get to the MainStay Suites in Grantsville, PA. Google map says 6 1/2 hrs but that is without stops so I'm estimating 8hrs. I don't think we'll be doing much Sunday other then checking in and getting something to eat in the area. It all depends on when we get into town and how we are feeling.

No tours of my little factory. I've never been in the back. I just see the belt where they come out of the oven and they bag them by hand. I should take pics.

MK, we won't be leaving until around 6pm on Friday. And we should be there early afternoon on Wednesday. I do have to check the hotels website for check-in times.

LITC, to you and Walter. I hope the doc has a clear cut answer for you. Just being told to get rest when you have a little one is one of the hardest things to do. And there's no need to commit right now....we'll keep you updated about everything.

Pikester, that's great that DH is on board.

It was about a three hour drive for me last year to Harrisburg, so I think I'll be there around lunch also on Wednesday.

Where are we going to have the picnic? Or did I miss that convo?

On the hotel website, they said they have a picnic area. DH said he would call and see if we can use a grill there. If we can, we'll bring our table top grill and get cooking.

I'm not sure if we'll make it to Lancaster. DS12 is into Civil War stuff so I think we will put our money towards Gettysburg. I'm still looking through the stuff that you sent me.

Ok, if Hersheypark will be Thursday, I'm thinking I may leave earlier on Wednesday and go straight to Gettysburg. Usually you check in after 4pm at hotels anyway. But I'll have to do some more research...so much to do!
