I haven't watched any shows on Speed since the one that had Johnny Benson, Michael Waltrip, Kenny Schrader and Alan Bestwick. I absolutely cannot remember the name of it. I do know that a few years ago, Dave Despain took over hosting and then it stank.

I miss the old Nascar with the tempers and fights. Trash talking without worrying about getting in trouble. Everything is so sanitized these past few years. I think that's why I like Kyle....he's still immature enough to add some temper tantrums and storm off the track when he's mad.

Yeah, Despain did windtunnel and then he took over for Bestwick on this other show. And then some of the racing guys left and were replaced with other ones. I think Vickers came in and Biffle. I know it was always on Monday nights.

I'm interested to see how Danica does in Nascar. I know she has a temper so I wonder what she'll do when the "boys" throw one back at her.

It could just be an update to Adobe. And having dial up will make it take longer.

Sleep...I doubt I'll be getting any of that tonight. DD13 is in our bedroom tonight since it's closest to the big bathroom. DD8 is on a fold out foam chair in the living room. DD6 is on the couch and DH is crashed on the loveseat. I'll just end up on the couch with DD6.

MagiKitty Thanks for the info. I noticed a lot of food recommendations. I just realized we really don't have a decent bakery here. I wrote everything down. I 'll tell DH later.

We are camping. The pop up doesn't affect our gas mileage. Of course with a V8 the mileage isn't that great anyway (17 mpg).

17mpg isn't too bad for a V8. I am really disappointed in our new van. Its a V6 and only gets about 20mpg - without pulling anything. My 12 yr old van got 26mpg and I miss that.
Would love to get a pop-up one day.

JOCA - I feel your pain. Last year all 4 of us were sick at about the same time with stomach flu. We had vomit and diarrhea. Didn't know which end to hold the bucket under.

Evening ladies! I had quite the interesting day. After turning on Kitty Laptop to post my daily greeting, my laptop kept flashing this black screen, with some indecipherable code on it, and then it would shut off. After a melodramatic "NOOOOO!!!!" and angry gesturing at the sky, I finally got my act together enough to get the yellow pages out and call for a computer tech.

The tech works out of his home. So, after leaving the tech's address and phone number with BF in case I become a Lifetime movie, I went over to his house. He met me at the door and escorted me to the foyer. Where I stayed for three hours.

Really....he sat me down in a chair, put Kitty Laptop on another chair and sat on the floor. He ran some cryptic tests and determined that it was the hard drive that was acting up. Opening it up, it was just that the hard drive had somehow dislodged itself and all it needed was to be put back in place. I think he felt bad for me and my near breakdown, so he installed Norton 360 and anti-spyware for me. After installing it, he noticed my computer was running really slowly. He though it was a virus, but after running everything, he was still befuddled. He turned Kitty Laptop over again and opened her up.

Egads! My RAM was also loose! And then the processor fan coughed up an ENORMOUS HAIRBALL! Literally! He took some pliers and pulled this disgusting mass of cat hair, Magikitty hair and dust. I was horrifed.

But now Kitty Laptop is back and running. I secretly think that Kitty Laptop was jealous of Kitty Netbook and pulled a Munchausen to get some attention.

M&N...its more like bad parenting. Despite the portability of a laptop, you're really not supposed to move it around too much. I shook the parts out of it but carrying it around all over the place. Yes, Kitty Laptop may stink, but she'll look cute doing it.....

Hi M&N! I was in and out of this thread yesterday but just did not feel like posting. I had yesterday off so I could be around in case DH needed me. He had a crown put on.

I'm home today too, didn't get a call, and I'm really happy about that because I'm not feeling well. I'm scheduled to work tomorrow and Friday.
