Ok, lighter note now. I finally put away my Disney pics from October. Really didn't take that long, don't know why I've put it off so long. Toiletries taking longer, as expected. For some reason, I have lots of almost finished bottles that I am determined to finish and then recycle. Buy my book order came in the other day and I'm so tempted to sit down and finish the Percy Jackson series coz its so good!

Not working today. Didn't even get a phone call. I had decided that I wasn't going to work even I had gotten a call because my mouth is hurting. I mentioned on FB that I had bit the inside of mouth 3 times. All in the same place and pretty hard. Dang did that hurt! When I talk it rubs the spot over my teeth and even having my toothbrush rub up against causes pain to shoot up into my upper jaw. I've been putting Oragel on it to numb it which helps a little bit. Who knew biting yourself could hurt this bad?

Best smilie I could come up with! Just stay on the computer...don't have to use your mouth to talk to us!

Oh no Pikester! Sorry you bit your mouth (and sorry I'm not on FB to know it already). If it gets really bad stuff some cotton up between your high gum and cheek. It'll push out your cheek and maybe stop some of the rubbing. Orajel is good but you may hurt yourself more and not feel it!

The boo boo is actually located about an inch inside my lower lip. Don't know what I was chewing on at the time to miss and hit there. It hurt when I did it of course(on Tuesday) but not that bad the next day. Yesterday was the worst! Today is better then yesterday but still not normal.

Pikester, I'm glad to hear your mouth feels better today. I HATE when I do that! And why is it that once you bite, you keep biting the same place?

I finally got up off my butt today and went to the gym. I lasted about 10 minutes on the bike--the seat was MOST uncomfortable! So I switched to the elliptical and did another 20 minutes. It felt good to be back there. My knee seems to have handled it ok, so I may just go back again tomorrow!

DD's neurologist's office called to reschedule her appointment. She was supposed to go Monday, when she is off of school for MLK. Now I will have to pull her out of school the following Monday, which I hate to do. (that's why I originally scheduled her on a day off!) She will be thrilled to miss a day!

Duke is doing well with adapting. He's more playful, less scared, more like himself. Hopefully he will continue to improve.

I read those threads on the earthquake, must not have gotten to the really nasty responses. The one in response to the not caring I thought was reasonable. No one at first knew anything so what was there to say? The one judging Disney about the amount donated. I will never tell anyone if/ or the amount I donated..no one's business.

I am having such a hard time watching the Haiti coverage. So sad. I just want to run over there and help. I wouldn't be able to tolerate those threads where people are bashing each other for how they react to tragedy. I'm with Kitty...no tolerance for stupidity. Just like listening to people like Pat Robertson make some ignorant comment about "the devil" just burns me. How dumb can one person be????

M&N...I can't even sneak a peek at that thread. I can only guess how horrible and insensitive some people can be. Goodness knows, I respect the right to free speech but but I have a low tolerance for ignorance and stupidity!

I will be the first one to post today. I didn't want LITC to feel . Not much happening today. Food shopping with DH is always so much fun. NOT!

I have a question for you all. I have wanted to get a new set of luggage. All that DH and I use is one 29" suitcase. I bought it at K-mart about 10yrs ago. Any suggestions.

I am also looking for a pair of leather mittens that does not have the glove inside. Not a ski mitten. A pair that "Santa" would wear. They could be chocolate brown or black. I have tried everywhere.

Gee, what happened to everyone? We are having great weather..in the 60s so we have been outside.
Sorry Sukie can't help you with the mittens. Plus we don't have near the number of stores you have access to.
DH was looking at the atlas I had laying out . He said Branson is on the way, we could stop there a few days. I think he is warming up to the idea of going to PA.

Sukie, I have no idea about the mittens, sorry. As for luggage, I got mine 50% off at JCPenney a few years back. They often have good luggage sales.

It's grey and rainy here in NJ. For some reason I feel cold in my house, but the temperature is the same as always.

Afternoon ladies! Its crazy out there! I knew we were supposed to get some ice this evening, but it came early. When I went outside, it looked like it was pouring rain outside, but as I stepped out in it, it was sleet! Yuck!

Nevertheless, it was a harrowing drive home. People are just crazy! Even with my AWD, I took it nice and slow. People in little cars were zooming past! The temps were right at 32*, so as soon as the precipitation hit the ground it froze. Its supposed to last until tomorrow am, and I am not looking forwards to my car-sicle!

Yeah DL55's DH is considering Branson. I think if I had prepared better from my trip there, I would have enjoyed it more. I hear lots of people enjoy going there.

Hmm...luggage. I got a set of three from Macys. They were on sale and I had a coupon on top of it. I've had it for years now. You can always check discounters like TJ Maxx or Marshalls. You can find single pieces, usually name brand and traveller trusted, like Tumi or Samsonite.

Grr...I stopped by Borders today and found two books of a trilogy on clearance. Books one and three about Josephine Bonaparte....but the second book was still full price. How silly is that? Luckily I had my coupon on me and managed to get it at least 33% off.

Excited for the GOlden Globes tonight. Find it far less stuffy than the Oscars and its always funny. Hmm....dinner? I have some left over chicken to take care of...but meatloaf would be perfect. Meatloaf is my preferred comfort food. Yum, sounds good Pikester!

Ooo, I haven't made meatloaf in ages. I'll have to add that to my menu for next week since I already did this weeks shopping. Tonight we just had left over veggie soup from the freezer and grilled cheese.

Weather was horrible here today too. Lots of rain and felt much colder than it really was.

DL55, you keep working that magic and convince DH that making the trip here is a necessity.
