staying at the caribbean Beach resort... stayed at the pop century lsat year..

I would love to stay there one day. We are trying POR this year. All our other trips, we've stayed in a value resort. We did Pop our last 2 trips and All-Star Movies before that.

i really enjoyed the pop last year.. thats where i plan to stay next year too... last year was my first time on site.. and tahts all it took to convert me

If we wouldn't have gotten a pin this year, we probably wouldn't be staying onsite. There are 6 of us who go so we usually have to rent 2 rooms. And it's getting mighty expensive since 2 of my kids count as adults.

yeah thats gotta be hard on the wallet... luckily its only me, and i cxhoose someone to go with me, last year i treated my best friend and paid for everything... this year its me and my cousin.. we are splitting it..

Pepper...Kate is very funny she told her friends at school that she has a friend call Pepper who lives in Virginia and votes for her. I'll have to get out the atlas and show her where exactly that is.

Evening ladies! I am back from New Jersey and I am so glad! What was I thinking trying to get stuff done in Jersey on a Friday afternoon?! The traffic wasn't so bad, but there was a lot of construction where I was and that just made everything that much more difficult. But I did go to the Asian food store and stocked up on lots of yummies!

It didn't start raining until I was about 45 minutes from home, so that wasn't too bad. But its coming down pretty steady right now. Its been chilly all day. I'm back to my flannel jammies.

D&D...hugs to you and DS! What a momentous occasion. I'm so proud of him. And all his Aunties on here love him too!

so, Pepper, did you manage to get ANYTHING done? It was just Friday blues. Everyone wants to chat and not work.

jenn...I kinda know how to scrapbook. I'm pretty good when I manage to sit down and commit myself to doing it. Sadly, those times are few and far between. I save everything and have ambitions to make a great scrapbook one day! I think the hardest thing for me to learn was that I didn't have to use every single picture and I could cut them up for more variety and interest. I'm no good at using stickers though. what made your morning yucks?

Nope, I didn't get a thing done today...hada. But I learned my coworkers wife breastfeeds and that she is having a hard time producing. TMI TMI

My DH is not a Disney fan (I know right!) He is lucky he is otherwise my Mr. perfect. I look at it this way though. I still have two weeks until that pin expires so that is two weeks to convince him.

2 weeks is plenty of time.

DH likes Disney but wasn't ever really thrilled about going there more than once. We did 3 years in a row and he was burnt out on it. Me, I could go multiple times a year and still not be tired of it.

So, we did Universal last year and now he's itching to go back to Disney.

I've never been to POR. Always did values. One of my dreams is to stay in every Disney resort.

both managers( the Co and the assitant) gave me compliments.. i about died.. i just told them to remember that on my e-val... thats are yearly evaluation.. were we get a raise.. anywhere from .40 to .60 depending on how we do....

Good morning ladies (and sweet dreams jenn!). Another bleh day here. Its been raining since last night and supposed to remain wet, gloomy, and chilly. Oh well. I do know that warm weather will happen sometime....

I just saw some reporting on the volcano in Iceland. How crazy! I didn't realize jus how disruptive it is. It is kinda cool though. In this day and age of technology, we just can't beat Mother Nature. Really, with the volcanoes and earthquakes, its just nuts out there!

Let it be said that I would go to Disney any time, any day, as many times as I could. BF is actually pushing for us to move to Florida eventually, but the last few times we were there in early fall it was WAY TOO HOT! I just didn't enjoy the parks as much. Anyway, we're still in negotiations. I say, live within driving distance, a few hours or so. It all depends on if I win the lottery....

I lost my melons yesterday! I forgot to tell you. It was not one of my best moments. After the grocers, we went to the shipping place. I opened my trunk and all my groceries kept flying out! My tangerines, my honeydew, my canteloup went rolling across the parking lot. Worst was, the honeydew got trapped under the axle of this truck behind me and I couldn't get it out! I had to get down on my knees, get the help of one of the shipping guys and whack the heck out of my melon to get it loose. But I did it! Now I"m just questioning if the melon is any good after all that....

I'm not planning a DL trip anytime soon. I do not like California (except for San Diego, but that hardly counts...). I actually am trying to figure out a way to go to Disney Hong Kong or Tokyo. I need to win the lotto first.

Just had to share something. I was going through my DS12's homework this morning and found some sentences that he had to write using his spelling words. In one of the sentences he had to use the words forever and because. I got to one that made me cry. It said...

I write sentence becuse I now my mom will luv me forever.


Now to give you a little background on my DS12, he has a language processing disorder which makes it very hard for him to speak in age appropriate language, or express himself in written or oral form. Writing his thoughts on paper can sometimes be a nightmare. He is also the son that has RAD. He's told me he loves me a million times but it is always superficial and usually has some sort of "edge" to it. He has always been stand-offish and not very close to me or anyone else.
To see him express that he knows I will love him forever is HUGE!!!! This is going up on the fridge to remind me on the days when I don't think I will ever get through to him.

And to think this is the same boy who got in trouble for flipping off the teacher a day earlier.

That is great!!
