Good Morning everyone,

I am just kinda taking it easy today. I spent yesterday cleaning up
and getting the house straight. DH said he plans on watching golf all day...ewww ha ha. I plan on hanging out on the DIS. I have my laptop hooked up to the big screen TV right now ha ha. I figured it would be fun to Dis in MEGA. Actually, it is still hooked up from last night. I watched Pretty Little Liars on Hulu. Wow that is going to be a good show. Me and DD watched both episodest with "limited interruptions"

that's the plan here too...plus a swim in the pool. Thank goodness I'm feeling much better today since I'm in charge of the BBQing!

Bittersweet day here, first fd for DH, also first fd without my dad. But we are focusing on the positive, and daddy loved Walters gifts!!

It's hot here. I'm going to HP in a little while...walking around, getting ice cream, watching a show and coming home. My friend's hubby is enjoying golfing with their son so she has a little time to kill.

Afternoon all...phew! I finally get to just sit and rest (at least until the laundry stops...)

Quincy left this afternoon. It was wonderful seeing him, the last time was December. We hung out with my sister and already we're planning our next get together in September, this time at her new place in Rochester.

Friday we went shopping with Mom and it was nice to have family time. We just hung out at the house that evening, coz we had an early day Saturday! The doll sale wasn't supposed to start until 10, but its about an hours drive from here and we had to get there kinda early to get on line.

Once there, we ran into other collector's we've met thru the other functions so it was nice. It was my sister's first doll event and she was amazed by the insanity of it all. I wanted to get the Miss Piggy doll and Belle Watling from GWTW. They had an entire table of different Miss Piggy in outfits, it was difficult to decide. Belle was there too, so I was happy. I also picked up Peter and Susan from the Narnia chronicles. I didn't go over budget!

I have to tell this story. Last year, we met a nice couple from Ct named Robin and Greg. Robin was kind enough to give us tips on how to do the sale and gave us garbage bags to carry everything. This year, I had picked up a beautiful doll that I was considering buying but not convinced on. Robin came over to see my doll and I could tell she really wanted it. I asked if she wanted it and she started to cry! She said that was the one doll she wanted and she was not able to find it...but I had. I told her to enjoy her and Robin was on top of the world. It was so nice to make her day!

Now I just have to get ready for Hershey! Woo-hoo!

Ev...how's the recovery going? Can you go in the pool? Or was it laparoscopic?

Back from eating at Fudruckers. I had two sliders and sweet potato fries with a diet pepsi. Have to watch the figure you know.

It's pretty warm here M&N. We still plan to check out Hershey tomorrow night after 7:30pm so do you want me to give you a call when we get there?

Magi, the drive went very well. We left at 7am and got to the hotel around 2:30pm. That includes "P" breaks and lunch at Burger King.

All this eating out is going to wreck havoc with my dieting. I did manage to have a grilled chicken salad at BK but as you can see from above dinner was a different story.

The MainStay Suites is pretty nice. The room we have is a Family Suite. As you walk in the door to the immediate left is a fridge (it comes to my chin), counter with 2 burner stovetop, wet bar sized sink, a microwave above the cook top with cabinets above the microwave and below the sink and cooktop. You walk about 5 feet or so and you come to a desk to put the lap top and then to the right is a door that leads to a closet and to the right in the "closet" is the bathroom. Back out in the main room is a fold out sofa to the right and the flat screened TV on a dresser to the left. In front of you now is a door that leads to a bedroom with 2 queen sized beds and across from the beds is another flat screened TV on a dresser. There is also a smallish walk in closet.

In the breakfast area you get a free breakfast every morning and all beverages; tea, coffee, juice, milk, cappacino, hot coco is all free 24hrs a day. There is a pool with a waterslide but the slide is broken. I can't wait to see you ladies and then you can check everything out.

I suppose I better go do something with the family.

Pikester: Sounds like you are getting around pretty good. Were you in Hershey to eat? I know there are places toward Harrisburg on 22 to eat but not right around the hotel. I'll be waiting to hear from you tomorrow. I'll head ovver to Hershey ahead of time...probably hit the outlets! Yeah---it's a little warm here! Glad you got to use the pool. Did you find a picnic area? Have fun tomorrow at Gettysburg.

And besides Kitty---you needed to stay under budget!

D&D, glad you didn't get hurt in the car mishap. Also glad you are getting to be outside getting your fingers in the dirt! I was wondering what a lap tap was myself.

Kerrie, glad you are feeling better these days. Won't be much longer now! Boo about the taxes! Sometimes it really sucks to be a property owner. Hope DH's hand gets feeling better.

lilmiss, hope the new dentist works out. I'm another of those who avoids the dentist until the last possible moment. I haven't ever passed out yet but I can always feel my self on the verge of hyperventilating every time I have to go.

Congratulations! So what's you secret for losing your 30 lbs? I've been trying to take some off but it seems to be stuck to me good! DH says he has lost about 30 lbs. I know I should be happy for him but I am really so tired of hearing it when I can't make the darn scale budge! I've tried to make him understand that women generally lose weight slower but I think he just thinks I am making it up... that I am cheating all the time. Sometimes he just makes me so mad! I think he has really been working hard at it lately.

Sukie, oh goodie! Now I have the "don't worry, be happy" song stuck in my head!

lighttech, have a fun trip! I would be lost making plans for NYC too!

Yup had Lapro...I go for my post op app't on Wed so I guess she'll tell me then when I'll be able to swim...the pool is salt water so it shouldn't be too bad on my incisions.
