hmm to went through what i have to pay this week , it lands good. 3 of my bills arent due till after i get paid again, so those can/will wait, one of them being my biggest non- board bill. so it looks like i will be able to put down another $100 at least on disney

Morning ladies. Its really raining outside. I've already been out several times in full rain gear looking for Chi-Chi. I would think she's be eager to return with this kind of weather.

There's been some reporting on violence against babies. They think they're found the body of a 3 month old whose father threw her off a bridge a few weeks ago. A local story arrested a man who was fighting with his girlfriend and he took it out on her 8 month old by slamming her head into a doorjamb. They found the body this week of a 4 year old boy who was reported missing...it was the mother's boyfriend who has been arrested. These are not men, they are monsters. Its all so sad.

I have my coffee and the morning paper and hopefully there's some good news out there. There's a lot of coverage of the tornadoes in the south. I hope everyone is safe.

Hugs to all of you out there. Be safe and happy. Happy Birthday again N!

I hope you find her soon. Wink takes an annual trip each December. Her one night out. Scares the crude out of me because we have so many wild animals. Maybe she's found a place safe and dry and is waiting out the storms. Do you have a neighbor that might have taken her in?

We had a lady PPD I guess, bury her 2month old alive. It's sad.

Just a quick hello to everyone this morning.

Kitty -- I sure hope the lil kitty comes back soon so you can stop worrying. It's been YEARS since I had a cat, but I do seem to remember that they will disappear sometimes, although I'm sure you already knew that.

I can't stand to hear that stuff about violence against kids/babies, especially now that I have Walter. It brings a whole new meaning to the word fear.

Re: Nascar, I don't really have a big favorite or least favorite driver, I do think Jr. is a hottie and that Gordon always seemed stuck up to me also, but then he was on extreme makeover home edition a few weeks back and didn't appear stuck up at all- so maybe it is all just track smack with him. but that is all I am going to say on that topic!

Hope everyone has a good day. :thumbsup2

Hi all...grey and dull here too.

Hope the kitty makes it home soon.

Head is still stuffed so I think I'll just hang on the couch and watch the race.

Good morning!

Here kitty! Here kitty, kitty, kitty! I would love to help you find Chi-Chi Magi but I don't think I can yell that loud. I will keep my fingers crossed and send up a little prayer that she makes her presences known soon.

I don't care about NASCAR. Heck, half the time I still call it Winston Cup. DH use to be a HUGE fan back in the day when maybe they televised one race a year and that was the Daytona 500. I met him in 1991 and he was still going strong as a fan but now he's just not that into it. He still likes to watch the races but we don't have any t-shirts, Hot Wheels cars, towels, plates or anything else with a drivers name or face on it. (I do think Kasey Kahne is H-O-T HOT! (In a I'm Mrs. Robinson way )

Had friends over last night. When I say "friends" it makes it sound like we had a huge crowd or something but it was only 2 people. They got to our house around 7:30PM and didn't leave until 1:30AM! I haven't stayed up that late in a very long time. For my legal aged friends I'd just like to pass on a new drink that I tried. It was so good! It was Mike's Hard Pomegranate Punch. According to the box it's "Hard Hitting Pomegranate meets Blueberry". I sucked down 4 of those babies before I knew it and wooo weeee I was feeling fine!

Hey Pikester
Those sound like they would be good on hot days. Yummy. Who here isn't of legal age??? I've been out of the loop for awhile...:surfweb:

Hope your head clears up soon. :goodvibes Hot Lemonade might be your drink of the day and, if you aren't on antihistamines: add vodka.:upsidedow

I'm off to create a design....I'll check back soon.

Nothing wrong with Mrs. Robinson!!

I'm more of a hot toddy or Drambuie kind of girl when I have a cold...it's the scottish coming out in me.

Good morning!!! It's icky and rainy here today too. And it's suppose to rain for the next couple of days.

Mrs. Robinson, you'll have to remind me about those drinks when it gets closer to Hershey. They sound like they would be perfect for a nice, hot summer night.

Bopsmom, have you given any more thought about making that poster of the flat tkers? I think it would make it so much easier for whgrn to take us to Scotland.

MK, I'm so sorry Chi-Chi hasn't shown up yet.

Ev, sorry you're still feeling bad. Did you pick Jimmie today?

Good Morning!
Happy Sunday (joy...).
How is everyone doing today? (I need to catch up).

Hi Lily!

It's race day so I'll be spending my afternoon yelling at the tv. :rotfl:

What are you up to today?

Nascar by any chance? (I'm a little slow this morning).

Today I need to study for my exam tomorrow, pack for home tomorrow and scream with excitement about my trip.

Yeah, NASCAR.

I see your trip is in one week. You must be super excited. When my trips are that close, I usually can't sleep at night anymore.

Who do you want to win this race?
Super excited doesn't even begin to describe what I am feeling right now hehe. I woke up this morning and started dancing. To think that 1 week from now I will be in a plane...Oy.

I always want Kyle Busch to win. He's been my favorite for quite a few years.

Ugh, flying makes me sick. I haven't flown in almost 4 years. We always drive to WDW. Besides the air sickness part, it is much cheaper for us to drive.

How far is it for you to drive to WDW?
I feel sick when the plane takes off, or turns. I hate the feeling and it's something that has recently started.

We live in PA so it's about 18 hours. We do the drive in 2 days and usually stop to see friends down South. MY kids are really good on car trips too so that helps a lot.

I don't get car sick, rides don't affect me either. It's just planes.

I would always take Dramamine when I did fly. It helped a little but my best bet was to fall asleep. But with 4 kids, that was hard to do.

I can definitely see how it would be hard to fall asleep on the plane with 4 kids.
18 hours is pretty close to what it takes to drive to WDW from where I live. We usually do the drive in 1.5 days straight.
