Hey there Jo. Actually had a better day than I thought I would. DH had to work and I met with my sisters and brother for some stuff for my dads probate/will, then some of us went to the mall after, and actually had lots of fun. Walter is doing great thanks, he is now on the floor playing with daddy!

I see where you are coming from with the media. Yes, it is true about most of it. But I've found most reporting on Nascar is pretty accurate. Sure it's not all true but most is backed up by the actual teams.

LITC, I'm glad you got to have a good day. I miss the age when we would sit on the floor and play with the kids.

The girls have an air mattress in their room in case they ever want to crash on the floor. I caught them earlier standing on DD6's bed and jumping onto the mattress. Wouldn't have been bad except she has a loft bed.

Just got back from dinner out. My kids were the only ones and everyone said they were so well behaved. Maybe I'm doing something right after all!!

Not much else happening like Jenn I'm stuffed up and full of drugs.

My first concert was to see Kool and the Gang.

Yeah for us old girls...For me it was either Foreigner or Queen...saw them the same summer way back in the late 70s not sure which was first.
We took our kids to see their first concert last summer. It was a freebie at the State Fair - Night Ranger!

i could say the same about jeff gordan the snotty, greedy stuck up jerk that he is.. same as stewart..

but okay i try not to make assumptions about people i dont know anything about than whats in the media.. its stupid to.. media lies and makes stories up all the time..

I'm not making any assumptions. I've formed an opinion of him based on what he has said in interviews and what I have read in the media.

Tony's my fav but then I based that entirely on best looking driver!! Couldn't care less who win...hence my placement in the NASCAR pool. Forgot to do my picks again this week so not sure who I've got.

I think she'll be back on here on Monday. I think she got in yesterday or Thursday but she usually spends the weekends at her mom's.

I actually find Tony oddly attractive. Kind of in that rough and tumble way.

Yup that wet shirt and the oh so proper English accent make me drool!! I have a thing for all the Mr. Darcys...Colin Firth, Matthew MacFadyen and that pic is Elliott Cowan.

The alternate theory is that she had a heart attack and she's dead somewhere inside the house. But I've looked everywhere and still can't find her, alive or dead.

My in-laws lost their cat a few weeks ago when they moved to the new house. My MIL was frantic thinking the cat bolted out the door when the movers were there. She was sick w/ worry. They looked for about a day and a half both inside and out. Turns out the cat had snuck UNDER a chair into such a small area they couldn't find her at first.
I am sure she will turn up soon.

Thanks guys. I feel like such a bad mother. I've checked everywhere possible and some ridiculous places. I did have a window open a smidge, and although she was pretty fat, I'd like to think that somehow she snuck out. I've been walking outsides like a fool calling for "CHI-CHI!". I'm sure the neighbours think I'm insane.

I'm hoping that she's having an adventure and she'll be back tomorrow morning....

tony stewart: i absolutely hate his attitude at the track, he whines and blames everyone else for his wrecks


jeff gordon: he thinks he is hot stuff, gods gift and all that. better than everyone and all that.. i hate it..
