So my mom calls me this afternoon to tell me all about this wonderful Christmas party I was not invited to. Found out my sis (the hot dog princess) made ham and turkey w/ all the fixin's and invited an entire group of my mom's cousins and relatives to this event. She even exchanged gifts with their kids (remember, she didn't want to exchange with her own nephews!!!) Ugh!!!! I know it shouldn't bother me but it does -DARN IT!!! (only I didn't say darn) Mom couldn't understand why I was so upset. Guess it doesn't matter that her other 2 children weren't there.
I am just so darn sick of this crap and that my mother doesn't seem to care. My God, don't call me and rub it in about the wonderful time you had yesterday or have the nerve to ask how my weekend was!!!!

So sad right now and disappointed in these people. Why do I let them break my heart over and over???

D...that is so crappy! Do you really need to spell it out to your mother? YOU WERE NOT INVITED. Its hurtful, its mean, and its just a sh**ty thing to do. Period. Its your sister, your family, AND its the holidays to boot. Poo on all of them!

D&D---I would invite you over to my house if it were clean and if I cooked! I do know my mom would have a hissy fit if I would treat anyone like that. She would be insulted if I were left out like that. I guess I can say that cause I am an only child but mom is a believer in treating everyone the same. How can the same mother raise such different kids? Be thankful that you are the kind, unselfish one!

Alexis is a picky eater at age 9. But we work with her almost daily to try new things. Now me......there isn't much I won't eat or try.
