She's got the bread in plastic now. she's also fighting the squirrels. she cannot put the birdseed outside because the squirrels are eating the top of the container. It's heavy plastic. We cannot find a medal one. She does not want the seed in the house because of the mice. Those squirrels are determined too.

The moon is almost straight overhead...a little to the NW. There are a lot of little clouds flying past. There seems to be a lot of clouds to the west. Hope it does not ruin it. The moon is pretty up there.

Isn't there some kind of farm supply/feed store around your area? We have a couple here so that might be place to check for a metal container for the seed.

Good idea. We looked at Lowes and WalMart. The plastic one she has is heavy and I thought they would not get into that but...

I tried to look out all our windows to see the moon but I can't. I'm not sure I'm even going to make it till 1:30.

It's probably too overhead. I went on my driveway. I do not have windows that direction. I think I could go to sleep but am determined to see it at least start. I do not have to be ready to go to lunch until 11.

I guess I'll have to put on some shoes and head outside. But it's cold out there. Decisions, decisions.

My little 3 yr old 2nd cousin was so sweet tonight. She acts shy at first. She said my name all day because she knew we were eating out together. She says Mar. Shye can say mom's name ok. It's hard to understand her but she sure jabbers a lot. We waited until we ate to give her her presents. She was a doll opening them. The ladies at the table near us enjoyed watching her. I got her a little set of Cinderella. She has plastic clothes to change. It comes in a clear plastic heart. She just loved it. Her mom just let her take out Cinderella. So we played with her. She danced with the invisible prince, drank some of my tea, and had to clean up. She loves to use her imagination.

Aww, that's so sweet. I love when the little ones play like that. All my girls have been big imagination type players. And for some reason, I think it helped them to enjoy reading more. They can picture the story.

I'm cold just thinking about going outside.

She's an only child...can get her way pretty much but not a selfish kid. They have her in playschool and in activities to have her around others.

when is it supposed to start? I think they said it would take 72 min?

From what I read, we should be able to see it now.

I knew it....clouds....rats. I could catch a glimpse and could tell the left side was getting dark. Maybbe there will be a better look a little later but saw clouds coming...

Better put a coat on too....

Whispy clouds here but it's really windy so they are being blown away really quickly.

They say by 2:30, it should be 75% covered.

And it is freakin cold out there.

If you can see it I am going to be so jealous...I checked out the thread on here and it seems a lot have clouds.

We had wispy clouds but they have turned to thicker ones...hopefully they will wisp out again!

Well I am good and awake now...I guess I will wait a little longer to see.
