M&N: OMG about Mom! It's great to hear how brave she is being though. Tell her that we are all asking after her and to take as many drugs as she needs to for the pain.

D&D: I checked out that hotel and many, many others. It doesn't seem to matter which ones I look at as they all have good and bad reveiws. I guess we'll just take our chances and if we don't like what we see then OPEN goes the can!

Magi: Good luck with the Mom's Panel.--I bought the kids the Little People Farm and we had some other thing too but I can't remember what it was. I loved the little people!

JO: Have a good trip and take lots of pics to share.

LITC: Walter's got a little something on his face there.

I've always thought it would be cool to be in NY for New Years Eve. But I agree with everyone else about it being too cold and too crowded. Of course when I'm rich, rich, RICH I'll just have a hotel room in that area that's big enough to have a party with a bunch of my totally AWESOME friends and we can look down on the crowd and see the ball drop from the window.

Evening! Packing is all done, van is almost loaded up and all my reservation papers are printed. We leave in 9 hours and I don't know if I'm going to get a wink of sleep tonight. Not only do I get to spend a wonderful weekend with our wonderful friend D&D but it looks as though I'll be able to swing by and see Walter and LITC.

LITC, I'm so excited I'll be able to see you and cutie pie Walter in person. That picture just makes it even harder to wait.

Pikester, everyone has their own idea of what a good hotel room is. And if it turns out that the hotel is really bad, just take a tip from all the disers......stomp your feet, whine, throw yourself on the floor and cry about how they just totally ruined your whole vacation until the compensate you.

Good morning! Its nice and bright here...perfect travelling weather for the JO family. Hope you guys got on the road on time and are well on your way to visit LITC and her family.

I have delusions of grandeur. The Moms Panel finalists will get to training at Disney my birthday (and Ev's) weekend. Its a sign. I'm going to make it!

My video was so silly, but sometimes you have to sacrifice pride to get somewhere. I put on my sweatshirt, Mickey ears and all my accoutrements of Disney paraphenalia. I figure the sooner I get the video out, the better, otherwise I'll be driving myself crazy. The subject of the 60 second video was my favorite Disney memory--that was a tough one!

Now I just have to wait two weeks for find out if I make it...

Morning...survived all the drama of Thanksgiving...brother & his wife fighting, best man having chest pains and another friend fell off her cottage deck and broke her collar bone.

Ev, that was one heck of a Thanksgiving you had! Hope everyone is ok. Seems like Thanksgiving, regardless of location, inspires much drama.

In the Philippines, for Thanksgiving, all the ex-pats would get together at a restaurant to celebrate. Then we would go out together...and in the spirit of the holiday, drink too much and someone would get into a fight/drama/upset. Ah, good times.

Ev, I'll let you know! I really have no idea of what happens next on the panel. If I make it to the next round, there's a phone interview. I guess I should start cramming my head full of Disney knowledge.

Walter is now my screen saver. His spaghetti moustache just makes me giggle.

and of course everything is just fine with my brother...my sister and I uninvited him to dinner since we didn't need the drama, so he spent time talking to his wife and had a 'wonderful time'. Well that's great...thanks for ruining the weekend for the rest of us dickhead!!

I've been watching the Moms Panel thread. There's some sour grapes on there. No one really knows the process of being chosen, but its still causing a commotion. Truth is, its a process, and although some of us have made it to the next round, heartache and rejection is still a distinct possibility.

Of course, until then...I'm going to Disney!
