Oh, my! I've missed pages and pages and pages.... :sad2: I need to try to harder to keep up.

Not too much going on here. The oldest 3 are in VBS at night, and I'm still working on the room changing. We bought a bunch of IKEA stuff for the little girls room and I have to wait for DH to have the time to put it together. But, at least all the painting is done! :thumbsup2

I finally post after days and days, and its a double post. I guess that's a sign I need to get posting.

Evening Kerrie! How are you doing? DH? The kids? I was thinking about you, but figured you were plenty busy! Ooh, I love Ikea stuff. They are so cute! The kids must be excited, and I imagine DH has a lot of putting together to do! Congrats on getting the painting done.

We love Ikea here, too. We have waaaayyyy too much ikea stuff. But it is so great for storage, and we need all the storage we can get.

I need to try to read back. No doubt I've missed a lot. I love to read about all of your bargain finds, MagiKitty.

Ikea stuff is just so clever! They have stuff I didn't know I needed! We don't have one close by, its over 2 hours from here, but that may be good thing.

When I lived in chicago, my roomate would take me to Ikea for "home cooking". He was Swedish and would miss the food. It was so funny!

I'm actually getting my coupons ready as we speak! Mom and I are heading out to the mall in the afternoon, after Dad's appointment, and before the concert. Have to get my free panties!

 Definitely not the first "free panty" post I've seen from you! I love it! :worship:

But, speaking of saving money and Ikea, they had their kids eat free event over the weekend. Yup, all 5 of my kids ate for free.

I'm not worthy?! That rocks Kerrie! I'm duly impressed.

Don't be too impressed, they made a lot of money off of us that day.

I had lasagna at Olive Garden...I had a free meal coupon for Buca di Beppo for today only but would have had to drive to Reading and find the place. I had too much stuff to do. They have mini desserts now but I refrained...had an extra breadstick instead. I brought leftovers for tomorrow. I had dinner at Bob Evans...had a hard time deciding what to have but went with an omlet. I had wheat toast instead ob biscuits since I had too many carbs for lunch.

JCP is having an extra 15% off so I got a set of towels---spent 16.07 and saved 22.80! Bath & Body Works was also having a sale---got those little hand gels for 5 for $5.

Seriously, it warms my heart to have found kindred saving spirits.

bath and body works is on my list tomorrow too. I'm trolling to find a borders coupon. Been reading my X-men books and want to pick up a few of the ones I missed.

Have to spend my $10 Sears GC before I lose it. I also have $75 in Macys gc, but i"m holding out for the summer clearance.

Did JCPenney have their green tag clearance? That's my favorite. Such good sales!

Evening!

MK, you gotta come down to the casino here. I've never been but I would venture in there with you. I know your luck has got to rub off a little.

Kerrie, how are you doing? Is Ikea a whole day trip for you too? Even without buying anything, I still spend hours and hours there. No wonder Curt never wants to take me.

D&D, we had Chef Boyardee ravioli and biscuits for dinner. Just did not feel like cooking again.

I have a confession. Our hotel in Hershey was 1 mile from the Hollywood casino. I couldn't sleep so I got up early on my last day and hit the slots at 8am. I didn't hit big, about $75, but I headed back to the Mainstay for breakfast before checking out and heading to the airport.

I swear the must have something in the ventilation system at Ikea. Its absolutely mesmerizing in there. Its like a visit to the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory but with furniture.

I'm sure the kids didn't mind the chef special tonight JO...and if anyone else did, just point the way to the stove!

It is like that, MK. The only thing that would make it better would be chocolate sauce and some male hotties as sales associates. :rotfl2:

M&N, I just didn't care tonight. But everyone seemed to like it except for MIL's other. Not that I care....if he don't want to eat what I cook, he don't have to eat.

The truth comes out! We should have gone after the picnic!

That's exactly what I meant JO!

I had to come here...they are discussing licking chocolate on FB! And JO's got it started here too!

Naked male associates with chocolate and an accent!

Chef Boyardee always smells good to me. Both my sister and I are allergic though. Its one of those weird things that no one beleives. I was always embarrassed being at a friend's house and not being able to eat it there.

You tell them JO! If they don't like the food, they can take care of the meal next time. Otherwise, thank you for preparing this wonderful meal for us!

I had a close encounter with a little black/white critter out back tonight when I went to water the plants. Do baby skunks have a white stripe all the way down their back? This little guy didn't but I did see white and he had a long fuzzy tail that I was hoping he would not turn around and show me! I really was rather close and didn't want to turn and run! The guy who does my yard told me he thought the holes out back were from a skunk and now I believe him. The little guy just stood there and looked at me and sniffed...my mind is going crazy...what should I do? Throw the watering can at him? Thankfully after sniffing several times, he walked away. Thankfully he did not turn his back on me! I was worried...watched his nose sniffing very carefully. I was thinking all the time that I didn't have tomato juice to wash off with! I did not make another trip out back...

We've only seen one skunk around here. He was between the houses and just went about his business without making a stink about it.

There are a lot of little holes in my mulch. The neighbor has a wood pile back there and the little guy went behind it. I saw a baby bunny this week back there. Yesterday 2 squirrels were frockling back there too. It's a zoo!

Our house is surrounded by lots of trees/wooded area. We find lots of critters around. And when we first moved in, we had pigeons roosting in the roof of the front porch. Those are really annoying birds.
