Walter is just so cute...Isn't it a joy to give him new experiences? Give him a hug from me! I got 4 votes for him on Sunday---I even thought of it agter seeing my tree down! I had to vote before I went back to Mom's!

Today wasn't too bad for temps! It's sad when you say 85 isn't too bad! But the humidity wasn't here.

I got my 4 votes in today too but was excited that I only missed Sat this week! Walter looks so big in the water---like he should be walking. Is he crawling more now?

He is, and he is babbling allot more. He also said dada this morning, not sure if he knew what he was saying though. And he is holding himself up on furniture, but not quite furniture walking.

Kitty---I know what you mean about your house. I just think I am a pile person! I always seem to have a pile of this or that around! Probably because I cannot stick to one task and complete it. There's no place to go with the stuff so I just pile it. I need to get some in trash bags I guess.

So my cousin texted me. She says they'll be here on noon Saturday. I guess I'm hosting! For a little while anyway....I have a barbecue to go to (not that anyone asked what MY plans were....) until my brother and his family get back. I'm secretly hoping that they'll work it out between them and keep me out of it.

I have Jacque the Scooba working on the kitchen floor right now...

Evening! The weather was absolutely beautiful here today. I even opened the windows for a little bit this morning.

We had the big picnic on Saturday. It was fun but tiring. The last of the guests left around midnight. But a few of them did help cleanup at the end of the night. I still have a ton of leftovers in my fridge that I don't know what to do with.

MK, I constantly work on my piles of stuff here. I am at the point that I try to keep them from reaching half way to the ceiling.

DL55, I don't read an actual newspaper anymore. I just look up the police reports online, scroll through the headlines, and check the weather forecast.

LITC, Walter is absolutely adorable. He brings a smile to my face every time you post a new picture. Lots of kissed to him.

JO---Just saw a Gillette Young Guns commercial. They were at a barber shop and had ong hair down the back! Your fav was there...said I have bangs! He does make good commercials...

I didn't think I was chatting that much!

I think it was Tony on first in the barbers chair...he looked strange! I like Tony's Burger King one too. They haven't had as many drivers in commercials this year I didn't think.

M&N, I like Tony's commercial too. When I was looking for the hair cutting one, I saw there is a yoga "young guns" commercial too. I don't remember seeing that one either.

I always thought NASCAR drivers had the best commercials too. Of course, I haven't watched much in the last few years, so I may not even know those people anymore.

They seem to be expecting big changes in NASCAR for next year. The show tonight didn't say what they were expecting but it sounded like major shake ups! Of course Mark says he's still driving the 5 next year...

LITC, honestly, there are days I feel like I'm running a hotel. I told Curt he needs to buy my a "no vacancy" sign to hand on the front door. Otherwise, things are fine. Enjoying the summer home with the kids.

And there are still lots of old-timers in racing. Mark Martin has been there since about the middle ages.

M&N, they keep saying big changes but I'll believe it when I see it. Mark was actually whining about people saying he won't be in the 5 car next year. Wah, wah, wah....I thought it was one my kids in the interview.
