I think the zucchini is courting me. I haven't made a decision yet. My latest watermelon just didn't floar my boat too much. Or am I just too picky with my produce?

It must be watermelon's problem Our last one was horrible!

M&N DH is in a Pro-Am right now. He has one of the highest handicaps there (meaning he is one of the "worst" golfers there). I think he may feel a bit intimidated. He has an 11 or 12 handicap I believe.

At least he's playing...

LITC, honestly, there are days I feel like I'm running a hotel. I told Curt he needs to buy my a "no vacancy" sign to hand on the front door. Otherwise, things are fine. Enjoying the summer home with the kids.

And there are still lots of old-timers in racing. Mark Martin has been there since about the middle ages.

M&N, they keep saying big changes but I'll believe it when I see it. Mark was actually whining about people saying he won't be in the 5 car next year. Wah, wah, wah....I thought it was one my kids in the interview.

I can only imagine. Luckily, my whole married life we have lived in apartments or for awhile a small condo so we really haven't had guests.

I'm sure I would recognize some of the drivers, but I know as I read some of the stuff you all have been posting, I'm thinking who the heck is that?
I'm not really a Mark fan, and sorry to tell you (although I know I've mentioned it before) I'm a Jr. fan. For Dh 30th birthday in addition to other things I got him a die cast #8 car signed by Jr, Sr, Kerry Earnhardt and Tony Eury Sr.

DS8 and I said "Awww"in sync when we saw Walter's pic. Too cute!!!!

Good morning ladies! Still no telephone here, the tech is supposed to be here tomorrow morning. I was hoping to avoid him coming over (and my having to be ready by 8am) but the phone has not cooperated yet.

Today I am Iron Chef Zucchini! I was give a great hunker of a zuke, and I'm going to battle. I have several recipes---zucchini-blueberrry bread, chocolate-zucchini bread, zucchini brownies. We'll just have to see how it goes.

OMG Pike! DS has to be in school by 7:15?! I would have failed out of school, there is no way I could have made it there by that time.

I have lots of dolls from my childhood. I was exactly that child who thought all her dolls had feelings and needed love. Actually, I kinda still think that.

BF thought Sid should have been in the last movie too, just for continuity. We though he should have been the new pizza delivery boy.

That's funny, I used to secretly wish my dolls would turn into real babies (A La Pinnocchio) so I could have tons of children and care for them all.

And I also thought Sid was going to end up the pizza delivery kid.

So I did some investigating outside. From what I can tell, the normally fat black line outside is missing some of its fat outer cover and the orange inner lines is exposed. I believe that is the source of my telephone issues. I'll find out tomorrow.

The brownies came out delish! They are so flavorful. I used Splenda and replaced the oil with applesauce, so let's just say I was worried there for a while. But it turned out great. The zucchini provides its own distinct flavor but its not overpowering.

LITC...that's so funny you thought the same thing about Sid! How's that wonderful boy of yours tonight?

I guess it would depend on how hungry I was if I would eat the pizza. I guess anything can happen to a pizza at any stage of being madeif you think about it.

Walter is doing great, rolling around the floor "yelling" at dada! Getting ready to give him a bath. He fell asleep last night before I could give him one and I don't want him getting ripe!
