My parents are the purchasers of the DVC membership, but my brother, my dh and myself are listed as associates. Would we, as associates, be eligible to purchase our own TIW cards?
Just trying to think through dining payment scenarios and bill splitting, etc.
thanks!

Not at the DVC Member price. Associate Members don't have a DVC Member Card which is necessary to purchase the TiW card at the DVC Price. If you have an Annual Pass, you can purchase a TiW card for $100 (same price as for DVC Members).

No, sorry, you would have to be the actual member to purchase the T.I.W. card with the DVC price of $100. However, if you are a passholder you can also purchase the card for that price. If you are a Florida resident you can purchase for $125. If your parents have the card and you are going with them they can get the discount for up to 10 people (including the cardholder). You would need to pay them back discreetly later as the cardholder has to pay the entire bill with the TIW discount. Good luck.

One of those who are a member could purchase the card and potentially get a second card for you at the additional price. The website says spouse or partner but historically they have been more flexible than this. I'd call and ask if there's value at an additional $50. Also, it may be worth buying one AP just to get access in some cases. Remember that DVC and the VISA card may provide some discounts and in some cases, discounts not available using the AP, VISA or TIW discount.

thanks for the replies! that's what we thought, but it's good to know for sure. We're not ap holders or FL residents, so i guess we're out!

I purchased a TIW card and was able to purchase the second card for my mom. So it cost us each $75. Works well since we don't always travel at the same time
