TIW Expiration Date

We have purchased the TIW card before as AP holders and were able to get roughly 13 months out of the card which gets us 3 trips, therefore making the card worthwhile. However when I checked on the DVC site, it said the card is valid for one year. I was wondering if now the card issued is literally for just the one year now tied to the exact date of purchase.

Has anyone recently purchased a card at the parks, and what was your expiration date?

We will be purchasing the card mid-August and were hoping to get the expiration date of at least August 31, 2013 so that we can get our 3 trips in on the same card.

Another question, has anyone used the card to get discounts on the Hoop de Doo Review? I believe that the only discounted show was the late one, but I wasn't sure whether that discount is still available or not.

It is good until the end of the month following the purchase month, one year later. Cheshire Figment just clarified that on the theme parks board a few days ago. So if you buy in mid August, it should be thru September of the next year.

We just got ours in June. IIRC it's valid until the end of next July.

We got our TIW on June 14 this year. I expected an expiration of July 31, 2013 but the expiration date on the card is July 14, 2013. I noticed it but didn't argue about the expiration date since we're going the week of July 4 next year and the card will still cover the trip, but you might want to check the dates before you leave the window.

Thanks so much to all who replied. As long as it is Aug 31, 2013 we should be good. We usually travel every Aug, so getting both of those trips plus a quick Nov. trip this year will allow us to get our monies worth.

If it was the first two weeks it ended in the middle of the following month and if it was the last two weeks it ended at the end of the following month. Don't know if this still holds true as all mine have been purchased in the last week of a month and were good until the end of the following month.

My current TiW card was purchased on 10/14/2011 and expires 11/30/2012 (valid for 12 1/2 months).

TIW discount for Hoop De Doo is only for 930 show. We just did this in June 2012.

The TIW website only mentions Guests Relations at one of the WDW parks or DTD. You could contact them as ask. There's a contract email on the TIW website, http://tablesinwonderland.com/

I called prior to my trip in June and was told it can only be purchased at the parks in Guest Relations, or at DTD. I do not see anything that lists VB as a place you can use the card.

Actually, you can use the TIW card at VeroBeach.

The TIW website says:

Vero Beach Resort
The Green Cabin Room
Shutter's
Sonya's (Excludes
Sunday Brunch)

But, like you mentionned, we cannot buy the TIW card at VeroBeach.
We can just use it.

It's not conflicting. With the exception of the one poster who only got 12 months exactly, which is an error, they are all good until the end of the month following your purchase month, the next year. So whether you buy on the 5th of the month or the 25th of the month, it is good until the end of the following month (1 yr later). At one time, it might have been different based on buying in the 1st half or last half of the month, but that is no longer true.

I rely on the info from Cheshire Figment, since he sells those when he's not working at the water park gate. And that has been my experience over 3 TiW cards as well.

Actually you can get up to 13 1/2 months (and change). If you renew on 8/15, the TIW card is usually good until 9/30 which is 13.5 months. A nice perk IMO.

Still hate the name though.
