Just a question...DDE is "Disney Dining Experience" card? What does TIW stand for?

TIW= Tables In Wonderland , the name change was to promote the theme for the F&W Festival last fall. Same program, different name. :)

Just checked the passholder site, and sure enough:

Passholders receive $25 off the regular price of Tables in Wonderland Membership. For only $75, join this culinary club which boasts a buffet of benefits. It's the ultimate food lover's feast.

IIRC, it was $20 off the $80 price, before, right? So they raised our discount, but jacked the price...

Good thing I've already got it...

Yeah in this economic market...lets raise the prices. You wonder about their logic.....I think if I had known before I got there I would have thought it over more LOL. And there was no leak about the cost going up....I just waiting to see what else has gone up!!!!!!!Oh and as for passholder discounts...I asked for a new cover for the discounts. You know the little folder that they give you...and she said they had none this year yet..something about them being printed wrong and they haven't gotten them in yet....isn't this like March????
Sorry to have to be the bearer of the news but figured you all should know for the future so you could make your own decision. :goodvibes

That is frustrating not to have a new AP sleeve. Someone else posted on another thread that at AKV they did not get their portable perks. Hope it is just a fluke. It is nice to be able to check on discounts, especially for things we only do occasionally like boating. :confused3

Thanks! I'm not an AP holder but I have seen threads about the DDE in the past. Now I keep seeing TIW but I would have never been able to figure out  "Tables in Wonderland" in a million years!

I don't understand this. Aren't passholders the only ones who can get TIW? How is this a discount off the "regular" price?

The program was originally for Florida Residents, and it still is as far as I know. Annual Passholders were then allowed to get it, and get a discount.

At least that's how I understand it.

TIW is available to FL residents at $100 and AP Holders at the "discounted" price of $75.

Anyone know off hand how much we need to spend to break even now?

$75 is 20% of $375. So unless my brain isn't working right, after you spend on $375 of undiscounted food, you have broken even.

Thank you. I know my brain is not working right! We are being audited at work this week and I dont want to calculate anymore numbers!

Off site here we come, and no ADRs required. :thumbsup2

Great, and this was the first year that I was going to buy it. That seems like a big increase to me. Does it usually increase that much?

I almost bought this 2 weeks ago! I decided to wait until we got to Disney to get it since it we could use it on 4 different trips that way. I guess it will still be worth it. I used to renew our DDE every year. It really is a great Discount. Too bad they raised the prices so much!!
