Hello!

I was looking up info on the TIW card and say this:

-- General Membership (Florida Residents ONLY): $100.00
-- Annual/Seasonal Passholders' Rate: $75.00
-- Add a second membership for your spouse or partner for only $50 more.

My question is, it says that you can use the discount for up to 10 guests dining with you, so why would anyone purchase an additional card for their spouse? I know I must be missing something here!

Your spouse is not with you. If your local you might be at the park while the spouse is working. For all us out of state people one card should do since we will be together.

Agreed. Technically the card holder has to be there for the card to be accepted. While they don't always check the exact name and ID to enforce that policy, it does happen and if the card holder is not there; no discount. If you are there regularly and don't always dine with your spouse, then it could be a good value.

The person whose name is on the card is required to be present. If there is a situation where the spouses are not always eating together (happens with locals more than those traveling with a family) then a couple may want two cards. If the couple is anticipating a trip with a group of more than 10, they may want a second card to apply the discount to the extra guests.
