Title Transfer Question

Has anyone used this service to transfer a title? I need to remove a name from the deed. Would appreciate your experiences and total cost? I have two contracts at the same resort that would need to be changed.


I know that it is possible to accomplish this myself, but I am so overwhelmed a a full time employee, mother and caretaker to a child with serious medical needs that I just need some help. If it's not that expensive and I hear some positive feedback, I will just let someone else take care of it for me.

LT Transfers (http://www.lttransfers.com/) is well respected and has done work for my family and for others who post here on the DIS. Their charges are about the most reasonable of any of the various timeshare title companies.

Thank you for your response. When all is said and done, approximately how much does this cost? DVC gave me a different name- First American Title, but I will go with whoever is less inexpensive if they are reliable.

I used LT and they were great. $220 to put me on and take my now-ex off with a gratuitous family transfer.

I think it’s $15 less now because there’s now one less form Disney requires, which lowers the cost to you. I did the transfer about a week before they dropped that form.

You do NOT have to go through the company Dvc tells you.

I can’t tell you the cost, but from all my reading here and on other timeshare-related sites it seems that LT Transfers is generally less expensive than other timeshare title companies and usually far less expensive than the one DVC refers people to.
