Title Company Question

We are currently purchasing a contract through a private sale with friends. We received the waiver of ROFR today. Can we choose any title company to do the closing paperwork and file the deed, or does it have to be a title company that deals specifically with DVC ownership?

The requirements Disney has are pretty detailed and specific, you need to use a title company that has experience doing DVC closings

I'd use LT transfers, cheapest I know of and a good reputation. You should be able to get it done for under $200. Or you could do it yourself for under $50

If you are buying among friends you probably don't need title insurance.

I haven't used them personally but historically they've received good marks on TUG. Maybe some of those that are on TUG more actively now an add any additional information.

Few people need title insurance IMO but I think they just want the transfer done.

I have used LT and they are good, reliable and cheap. I would use them again.
