"The Titan submersible's ill-fated journey to the ruins of the Titanic dominated headlines in June 2023, but nothing can prepare you for TITAN, coming to Netflix this summer.

This new documentary examines OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, his quest to become the next billionaire innovator, and the doomed underwater endeavor that forced the world to reconsider the price of ambition in the depths of the ocean."

A bit soon perhaps? I find this story harrowing.

"IT makes you question a lot of things to... like is this safe?' she said after showing off her buckets full of debris from her trip to the Turks and Caicos "

Billionaires... what's you going to do ???

I don’t think it’s too soon really. I have watched quite a few Netflix documentaries and for the most part they take their subject seriously and present as balanced a program as they can (obviously, some topics lend themselves to balance more than others). I would expect them to treat the victims, other than Rush, with sensitivity. In my opinion, Rush is really the only controversial character who perished.

I wish I could watch it, but the gift subscription I received for Christmas runs out next month so I will miss it.

I don't think it's too soon. I highly recommend Real Engineering's video "The Questionable Engineering of Oceangate" on Youtube.
