Has anyone had the Tired Legs procedure at the Grand Floridian Spa? I wanted to treat my mom to a treatment before our character breakfast there one morning and this seemed affordable but it doesn't explain what it is on the Spa's website. What is this procedure? Would you recommend it? :confused3

My friend and I did it. It was essentially a lower leg and foot massage. It was okay, but I don't think we'd spring for it again. Similar to a pedicure, but without the pedicure.

Really? Ok good to know! Maybe I won't do it then...

My mom is REALLY not used to all that walking and the day I was thinking of doing it was our last full day of the trip so I thought it might put a little more "pep" in her step. :) If it's not worth the $40 then I won't waste my money on it. Thanks!! :thumbsup2

I did it once and wouldn't recommend it either. Not much massage involved. And the hot towels were way too hot for me and I like really hot baths. Instead of cooling the towels a bit, the technician I had just ended the treatment.:sad2:

Maybe give each other foot massages. The H20 line has a wonderful foot massage product. You can buy it at most if not all of the deluxe resorts gift shops.

The spas also offer reflexology which is fantastic for sore feet if you get lucky. I had one great experience at SSR before it was SSR. But I had one on Maui that made my feet sore for days.

One of my trips to Disney I had planter facitis. My feet were killing me. I also have some vericous veins that bother me after a full day of standing and walking on concrete. I had a foot massage bath sent to the resort from Walmart.com. I also packed Johnson's footbath. It is much less expensive than the spa and you are forced to sit for a short while and relax. The foot massage is probably too large to pack with the new baggage policies so I would try ordering it on line and see if they could deliver it close to your check in day.
