Wear light clothing. It tends to be warm(er) in the Spring/Summer. So easy on the black.

Drink plenty of water.

Have fun!

Bring a pillow and blanket for the trip to DC. I just got back from a school trip there so I know what to bring. Bring a mp3 player or something to block the noise of other people on the bus too(it's also great for listening to your fave music) .Also bring plenty of snacks and water along with you. Also bring a camera and plenty of film. If you have a digital camera bring 2 memory sticks. If you're bringing disposable cameras bring one for each day you go because the city is so gorgeous you'll be taking pics constantly. Hope this helps!

DON'T USE A CRAPPY CAMERA!!!

when I went to DC in 8th grade I had a POS digital camera and almost none of my pictures turned out. I was pretty mad.

And don't forget sunscreen. I didn't think much about it and I got scorched, especially at Mt. Vernon and Arlington.

Wear sunscreen in the Summer.
We can get a little hot in the Spring, but not hot enough to get a sunburn.

Yeah there's not many tips I can give you 'cause I just usually hit a museum or five and then head home.

I LOVED my Washington D.C trip in 8th grade. That was like 5 years ago though, so I'm just going to say have fun! and take a bunch of pictures!!
