Does anyone have tips for getting through to ticketmaster and Boss tickets? My friend said to call a ticketmaster in another state -- does anyone know if this actually works? I'll be trying for Philly tomorrow.

Becareful I see some locations are only allowing people in certain states to buy tickets. I see for Boston you must be in New England. Just keep hitting the refresh button. I couldnt get thru for NJ but Im hoping I can for Boston! Philly is restricted to Penn,NJ and Delaware.

Have a seating chart printed off and ready to accept the tickets if you get thru.

Calling on the phone I have called other states. A few years ago that worked great. Lately more and more people were doing it and it become just as hard to get in. Then they would restrict where they would mail the tickets. For instance they wouldnt mail tickets to me in Maine if I called the Vermont number.

Do you have Ticketmaster walkups anywhere? We have them in Chicago as a number of locations. Tickets are made available on a lottery basis.

Pre-registering your info with TM also helps greatly when purchasing :) FYI though, the Boss sold out here in NJ in less than 15 minutes, so having a cable connection would be handy! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

Okay, now I'm getting worried and wondering if it's worth the trouble!

I was hoping to get some really good seats for the Tampa concert, tickets go on sale at 10:00 am and I was planning to go to the Ice Palace and stand in line. Problem is, I have to take DD and my niece to a birthday party at 10:00 am.

The tickets are a surprise for my DH for our 10th wedding anniversary, so I can't ask him to go stand in line.

I was going to have DS try to get them online, but from reading this thread, it doesn't sound like he'll have much chance of getting good seats? We've seen the Boss several times and I know DH would love to see him again, but I really, really wanted to get good seats.

What do ya'll think, should I just be happy to get tickets and not worry about where they are?
