Tips for those ready to depart to WDW!!!!!

These are all such great tips! Thanks for all the help! Oh, and I saw we have some LSU fans a few pages back...so GEUAX TIGERS!! I'm in Baton Rouge, and it is always nice to see from LA DISers!

Hey - another LSU alumnus and Louisiana resident here! We drove through Baton Rouge today after leaving a family birthday party in New Roads!

We leave for WDW in 19 days! I love all the tips posted so far and I think I have all the items packed in my backpack already! I have to laminate my lime green mickey ears I got from Home Depot and pin it on my backpack. I'm going to figure out what to do with the other color ears I got for the kids...

I forgot to post another good tip I read on these boards a while back!

If you have small children, take a white label and put your name and cell# if lost and where you are staying. We have a very curious two yr old, so we stuck his to the back of his shirt just for peace of mind if he were to get lost. We really don't let him out of our sight, but my husband is a cop and I have heard horror stories!!!!!! Also, they say not to put the name of your child because the child may just go right to them, and they may not be trying to help!!!!

I had a lot of people telling me what a good idea it was and they wished they had done the same.

I went to the Disney store near my house, walmart and target and still couldn't find any of the fan/mister bottles. Bummer!

Did you look by the fishing stuff? Oddly enough, that's where they are at our Walmart.

Try Walgreen's. They had several different kinds the other day.
