Tips for Splitting Up/ Using Genie +

We are going on a 4 day trip September 10-13. It will be DH and I plus our 14yo son and his two friends. I plan on making us reservations for each day and we can hop. The first day will probably be HS and we will likely to all stick together that first day. After that I’d like to give them more freedom to choose stuff or rope drop (we are onsite but DH and I will likely sleep in some). They also have access to water park. I’ve never split a group before. Will it be easy for DS to log in to my MDE and be the planner for his group? Any tips to help keep things straight?

No problem with him logging into your account and making plans for himself and friends.

During our trip in April my 15 year old son was logged in as me on the MDE app on his phone so he could also reserve LL (and order food). When someone selects a LL to book, only eligible people are pulled in. It may be helpful to know that when you click to cancel a genie+ LL, the next screen asks who you are canceling for. To me that meant that if the perfect (or a hard to get!) genie+ LL popped up, it could be grabbed quickly and then adjusted after for people that weren't going to use it.

That is helpful. I was concerned about booking speed if we had conflicting plans or weird overlaps
