Where can I find tips about dining for less? We only have 3 ADRs..tusker house breakfast, San angel lunch and Sanaa lunch. We are 2 adults and a 5 year old. He's a very light eater. We are staying at CSR, which means we have a mini fridge. We'll be there for 9 days and won't have the DP so need all the help we can get for saving money.

If you have any tips, please let me know.

My advice would be to scan through and do a search on the Budget board.

Our first two trips we stayed at CSR and did QS meals mainly. For breakfast we kept milk in our fridge and bought cereal packages at the small store by Pepper Market. If you have a car you can save even more by picking up a box of cereal and some milk.

The Pepper Market is also a good location for a QS dinner as it is not too expensive for dinner.

My favourite advice though comes courtesy of the Unofficial Guide - "wear tight clothing and only buy food with money your children fish out of fountains".

The budget board has some great tips. Here is some of what we did to save. Split meals with our then almost 4 yo. Shes a light eater and never finishes a kids meal. Ordering a separate meal for her was a waste. I ordered her an extra side and just fed her off of my plate. Also, skip sodas. We drank water mostly. It was hot (may) when we were there, soda was not appealing to us at all.

Do late lunches for your ts meals and eat a lighter dinner. Ts lunch is much cheaper than dinner. Or schedule a later bfast, then have a light snack for lunch, then a decent dinner.

You can order groceries from a delivery service or make a grocery run if you have a car. Breakfast in the room is a great idea- saves both time and money. Cereal, oatmeal packets, yogurt, things like that. Since you have a fridge, this should be very doable.

For us, it really wasn't too hard to stay in a budget at Disney. We had some nice ts meals, we did liberty tree lunch, crystal palace lunch, and akersus bfast. We still enjoyed ourselves.

We don't enjoy eating big, heavy meals or desserts after being in the heat of the parks, so I am sure the fact that we naturally leaned towards salads, sandwiches, etc helped us stay on budget.

On the day you eat lunch at San Angel Inn you can split a counter server at Cafe Tangiene for dinner, I heard the Shwarma platter is good and large. We also love the fish and chips at the counter service in England. :cloud9:

We always ask for ice water instead of soda....for our family of 4 that saves us $10 + tax on every meal.
