Do they give the card to all families who have kids in the show or to the whole audience?

We have an 8 a.m. ADR at Hollywood and Vine, so what time should be get to the park to be able to sign up for JT and be at ADR by 8? Park opens at 9:00 that morning.

We got to the park at 7:30 for our 8am ADR. We lined up and got in the park at 7:45. The sign ups started when the park opened at 9. We got in line after our ADR and were the first to sign up.

I don't know about that. I've never had a good experience with photopass cards. This trip the card have photos to the wrong show. I am not sure that would have been something that could be fixed over the phone, at least not as easily.

well I always put the code in that day/night and then look to see if they are there. If not you can go to any photopass shop and have it fixed but in my case they are always there.
We did have a special picture on July 4th that didn't show up and they never found it but I think the cameraman just didn't save it right

i have never used the card so maybe it works differently. with the MM on a magic band I can see all the images on my phone while I am in the parks.

yes, same idea but you have to input the code manually vs scanning the band.
They scan the card like a band and give it to you

I know this is a silly question but I will be using memory maker for the first time this trip. Is there a place at the show where you scan your magic bands so you get the photos from that show?

"both" they give cards to anyone who asks for them at the show but in most cases 99% of the people watching are families of people in the show and I'm not sure why anyone who didn't have kids in the show would ask for one.
Imo you would have to be up to something fishy to do that.

Also, you will.need to go to a photo center after a few hours wait to filter out your photos for memory maker.

No reason to do this... you can delete photos you don't want right from your account. Some people tell you to do this, I thought they had some special facial recognition tech that would automatically find your kids pics.. but no, you just stand there and delete unwanted photos same as you do from your account. Felt kind of silly having a cast member having to assist with this.

I put the code in from the card right away. Then you can make sure the pics are of the right show. Only once were my pics missing. We were staying at the poly so went to the mm booth thing there and they were able to pull the right show and add it to my mm. The pics they take are awesome. When we did it, we would get to the park around 815 for 9 am opening and we were always done with sign ups by 9. The last time we did it there was a separate line by the turnstiles for jedi training. I would ask a cm where to to go when you get there because things change fast at Disney. I think you will be fine as most people are headed towards toy story land these days.

Our friends have 8:30 ressies at Hollywood and Vine. Will they be allowed in at 7:45 with us?

I’m not certain what time they’ll be let in, but this July we were meeting friends at HS and our kiddos wanted to be in the same show. They ran a few minutes late so we got to JTA sign ups before them. They actually let us sign up both kids even though we only had our daughter there. Might be worth asking.

Ages 4-12. My 4yo was way too nervous to try it and the 4yo in our show had a really hard time following what was going on, though he seemed to be having fun.

Aw thanks, I may have to avoid it because 3yo is more into Star Wars and would want to do it over the 6yo!
