Tips for getting good hotel rates

Before deciding to stay onsite, we were originally going to stay at BW Stovall's Inn ...it's not on Harbor, it's on the corner of Katella and Disneyland, but we got rooms there for $99/night during the 3rd week of May, on hotels.com.

Book early. Start looking 12 months before your travel dated and keep looking every few days until your dates open. I did this with Desert Inn (& I even emailed them and ask when my dates would be opened [since it was less than 10 months at that time]). I booked for $79/night for 5/15 - 5/18.
