I tried to make ADRs for Fantasmic dining experience during our stay.

Called at 7:00 on our 90 +10 day and nothing was available at any of the dining options...for any time.

Tips on getting a package.

I knew it would be tremendously popular as Fantasmic is only showing once while we are in FL.

I will try calling at the 90day mark too...but you cannot book on-line? Correct???

Tips...???

You cannot book it online right now. As for tips -

Pray?
Rub a rabbit's foot?
Hang a horseshoe over your phone?

Really, I think these were extremely hard to get back when Fantasmic! was being shown more than a couple times a week. Now they are next to impossible unless you happen to snag one the day they open up. In fact, I have been having trouble getting in any restaurant at DHS on 9/25 for dinner. We got a 2:20 lunch at H&V, which will work if nothing else opens up.

Well I guess I was VERY lucky as when I called that was the 1st thing I asked for, even before any of the character meals or even Le Cellier! I got a MM “F” on 9-18, the CM sounded surprised it was there and even congratulated me like I won the lottery…. I just hope in the long run it pays off not only in the seating arrangements but also the FOOD!!!!

Not sure if I would do it anymore. I heard that instead of getting your own entrance and section, you are dumped right back into the main waiting area. Has any one else heard this.
It use to be when you booked this, you were given a pass after dinner. About 30 mins before the show, you went to grovers garage at the front of H.S. and entered the stadium that way and had a section that was closed to every one who didn't have the package. Thus ensuring your seat.

Now I heard that there is no longer a reserved section and its quite possible for you to get the package and still have no seat. Does any one know the truth to this?

I have read in other threads as well as the CM telling that there IS a section, the same one, reserved for the "F" package diners, they do open it up, as usual 30 mins before the show starts, from what I have been told this is normal, just no separate entry.....

We used the FDP in May 2009 (Thursday after Memorial Day)

There IS a reserved section and you DO get your reserved seat if you show up when & where they tell you to. And the rest of the theater DOES fill up long before the show and people DO get in line more than 2 hours before the show. But with the package, you DO NOT wait in line -- you walk straight in 60 minutes before the show & go directly to the reserved section & choose a seat. And the CMs DO keep non-package people out of the reserved section until 30 minutes before the show...at which time they take down the ropes and allow people in the standing-room section to take the few remaining seats in the reserved section. So if you are on time, you will get your seat...and all waiting-time will be in your seat, not in a packed line.

The people originally reporting that they did not get their seats (if you dig back & find the original post) actually got to the theater late because they went to the old entrance less than 60 minutes before show time (which is the old way you did it)...by the time they figured out they were in the wrong place & walked all the way around to the regular entrance, it was less than 30 minutes before the show and the entire theater, including the reserved section, was full. However, the voucher they give you in the restaurant actually tells you when & where to go...the OP had not looked at the voucher because they did not realize it had changed (they'd done the package before.) When we ate at Mama Melrose in May 2009, not only did the voucher tell us when & where to go, but the hostess out front & our waitress mentioned going to the regular entrance 60 minutes before show. And both cautioned us about being late.
