Tips before making fastpasses

Don't book any E-ticket reservations in the 6-7/6:30-7:30 window on party nights (MNSSHP or MVMCP). A bunch of us got screwed with this, and it's an ongoing issue. See other threads on the board. WDW might randomly cancel your FP+ for anything after 6 on party nights sometime weeks after today.

Start with the last day of your trip and work backwards. You may have more availability toward the end, depending on how many days you're there. Also, keep trying if you don't get what you want right away.
