I'm on the dining plan and have booked all character meals. How do i handle the tips? Will I get a bill or will I just get a receipt? Will it have a price to calculate a tip? Also, what's the norm tipping for the housekeeping? Trying to budget for my upcoming trip... Really excited about the trip, cringing at the amount that I need to budget for this trip

Yes, you get a receipt and can add a tip that is charged to your room. Per the guide Disney gives to foreign visitors on tipping, housekeeping is not a tipped position and no tip is expected. Some posters here will try to convince you to tip house keeping but please note that Disney already pays housekeepers more than the CM's you see in the park.

You will receive a receipt with the amount the bill would be before any dining plan credits are taken. There also should be tip recommendations.

What about for MEARS? Is it customary to tip the driver?
