Tipping Question for DDP

We arrive at Poly on 7/29. This is our first time using the dining plan. Please forgive me if this question has been asked and answered before. How do you tip if your entire meal is covered by the dining plan? Do I need to carry cash for tipping? OR do they still give you a recepit that enables you to tip via your credit card. Anymore, I try to avoid carrying cash at WDW. One less thing to lose
