What have you tipped for these different shore excursions? We are Pearl, but we don’t usually do these excursions, but this time we are doing the Salsa & Salsa in Cozumel. What is the procedure for gratuities?

Depends if it’s. Large excursion or smaller. A large excursion we might tip $20-$40. But on more exclusive ones I’ve tipped 20percent of cost

When DW and I did Salsa and Salsa in September of 2023, the hostess made tipping very easy.

The hostess was delivering instructions about the next activity of the excursion. She directed the gentleman with the blue toque to place his toque on the table. Then the hostess told us that is where we can place the tips for the staff. I remember 2 dance instructors, and 1 waiter during this adventure.
DW and I had a great time!!!
Hope this helps.

The thing about tipping these days is that you DO need cash, so be prepared if in a different country. US Dollars are probably OK for Mexico, but not Europe. Americans are used to a tipping culture. It’s not the norm most everywhere else. Don’t feel “guilty” for not tipping 20%.
