OK, so we are flying with only carryon luggage, so do we tip the ME driver when we load our luggage, or when we unload our luggage, or both? I understand we should tip $1-2 a bag, but are we to do that twice per trip, to the resort and arriving at the resort, then leaving the resort and arriving at the airport. :confused3

If the ME driver loads your carry on under the bus, then tip when you get off the bus when he gets your luggage for you.

We tip when we get off. But that is only if the driver actually handled our bags. If all he did was drive the bus, then we don't feel obligated to tip.

So, if we just have wheeled carryons, can we take them on the bus with us, or do we have to load them in the luggage area? Not so much to save the tip, but to just get off the bus and head to the check in desks without having to wait for the driver to unload for us.

The overhead compartments of the motorcoach cannot handle much more than a small backpack. All rollaboards would need to be stored underneath. One person can go check in while the other waits for the luggage (usually all of 30 seconds)
