Tipping limo driver??

We have a reservation which includes a 15% tip for the driver. Should we tip him extra in cash? (the other goes on our credit card)

If he/she is decent I would tip 20% total. If he/whe REALLY goes the extra mile (so to speak) I would tip 25%. Especially, if they are the same limo for the return.

If the limo driver goes above and beyond I would tip extra in cash.

I agree with both prior posters. Also make sure you tip each way as it could be different drivers.

no to hijack the thread, but I had a similar question about tipping the driver.

Do I tip each way 15% of the round trip bill, or 7.5% the total bill each way (so 15% of half the bill, each way)

So my round trip is $80... do I tip $12 each way?

I don't know if I'd feel comfortable giving less than $15 each way anyway, but was just curious.

you have to tip each way we always give the driver more of a tip and here in ny it is 20% added to the bill. we always give the driver $20 when we get out of the car. personally i just dont feel right not giving something directly to the driver.

We are only using them one way. The total cost is just under $100, so the tip added in by the company will be about $15. What type of service would earn another $10 cash? We have always had a rental car on vacation, so I don't know anything about service a limo driver might provide.
