Tipping at trial appointment

I'm having a make up and hair trial in a couple of weeks. Are you supposed to tip for this? We've already paid for the actual trial and the owner of the company is the one doing my trial.

Usually I would say yes, but I think that the proprietor of the establishment is the exception. So, if the owner is doing your trial, it's not expected. :thumbsup2
 
Yes it is nice to tip regardless if it is the owner or not :) Doesn't have to be much,it's just the right thing to do. I'm not just saying it because I'm a stylist..If I wasn't I still would tip the person.
 
My understanding is you don't tip the owner. Maybe try googling tipping ettiquette.
 

Here is a question:
What if the people doing your hair and make are the owner and her assasiant, you can't tip one and not the other can you?
