Tipping at Chuck E Cheese ?

Do you tip your birthday party host there? DS is having his party there and I'm not sure if we are supposed to or not? If so is there an acceptable percentage or amount? We are doing a basic party with 10 kids. TIA!

To be honest I can't remember if I tipped the girl at Chuck E Cheese. I would hope I did because she was awesome. It was three years ago though. I remember DS having a skating party and not tipping. I hadn't really thought about it and wasn't really impressed with the service anyway. However DD just had her party at Incredible Pizza and the girl that ran it was amazing. I definitely remember tipping her. I tipped her in cash because I wasn't sure if there would be a spot to tip on the receipt. Plus I made sure she took some of the Dairy Queen Blizzard Cake since she was salivating all over it.

With first kid's party, tipped $20. With other kids, avoided CeC so no tipping (but would tip to avoid going there )

Yes you tip the party hosts there--I usually just gave them 20.00-25.00. My friends daughter works there as a hostess and says most of the time she will get tipped between 15.00-30.00 per party.

This is right. It is proper to tip the party host at Chuck E. Cheese, or wherever the child's party is.

My wife gave them a $20 the time we had a part there, but that was years ago so maybe it should be more now.
