Just want to share something that happened today at Animal Kingdom. I was at the Flight of wonder show (It's really great) and found a stack of tickets and fast passes on the floor afterward. There were at least 5 tickets there and all 10 day. I turned them into a CM there right away. Hoping that family will get them back somehow.

That got me thinking of there's no way of identification on the ticket. Anyone could take them and use them. When I got my birthday ticket, the CM made me write my name on the ticket. I thought it was strange then but now it make sense. So I thought I should pass along this tip.

Taking a picture of your ticket number or having it written down is the best thing you can do for yourself if it's not a ticket that is registered on your name (like one you get on a package or one you get at SOG or something like where you have to get it changed in with your name and info at Guest Services). If yours is just a ticket where you don't have your name associated with it in Disney's system and you lose it, there will be no way to get it replaced if you lose it.

OP, that is excellent advice. I will add one more thing, along with your name, add your cell phone number. That is the first thing I did, as well as ask guest services to make a copy of my pass and I kept that in my file folder back in my room. A 10 day pass was just way too valuable a thing to not "back up".

If you are staying at the resorts, but bought your tickets separately, can they move your ticket over to your room key? In the past it was nice to have everything on one card, but we got a good deal on tickets from an outside source this time around.
