I have figured a budget for the 8 days we will be at Disney. I have figured approximately $250.00 extra for tipping. Do you think it would be a good idea to put this money on a Visa cash card to prevent having to carry this extra cash around each day. Haven't come up with any other solution. Thanks for any imput...:flower3:

There is an official tipping thread stickied at the top of the forum, which is where we should address our tipping questions. You can find that here.

The issue of what the cash is for aside, there is an option to pay off your room charges with cash at the end of your trip. You could just carry the cash - keep it in the safe in your room, and pay off your room charge at the end of your trip.

Incidentals can also be paid for with Disney Gift Cards or Reward Dollars.

Visa gift cards work for incidentals in Disney, but not as well as a gift card or reward dollar.

We just leave all our extra cash/traveler's check/airline info, etc. in the safe and take what we need for the day. I always make sure to have a credit card with me in case something comes up that was unexpected (like a great item I can't resist in a store!)
