I had saved a few peanut containers. I thought I could do a Pinterest project or maybe use them in the pantry for storage. Anyway, I found a tip online for removing the sticker and it worked perfectly.

Use cooking oil, don't disturb for 24 hrs., you may need to repeat. The sticker came off with no sticky residue.

This was the container I was using.

This works fine and you don't need to let it sit for 24 hours; usually a few minutes does the trick.

You can also use Goo Gone.

Best is goo be gone but baby oil works too if you don't use them for food storage.
