I just selected FPs for the first time this morning (60 days to go...yeah!). This is probably known and/or obvious to many, but one thing stuck out to me that I thought might be helpful for others. When you get to the page with the list of attractions and options of times to select, it only lists 3 possible times to select. If you click on "see details/more times" under the attraction name, it gives you a ton more times to select from for that attraction. At first I didn't realize this and thought I had to select one of the 3 times on the first page, so just thought I'd mention it for other first-timers. :earboy2:

Thank you. I'm also a first timer with the new FP's any and all tips are every helpful!!

As you get closer to your dates, the night time Fastpasses at MK go faster than other times. I just find that interesting. I like to continually tinker with my choices, so I tend to not mess with my night time choices at MK.

I have to do my fast passes in 2 days and I am a little nervous. I'm a vet and a planner but never this hyper planned! Plus, I'll be up at midnight trying to do all of this. Wish me luck!

I don't think the Fast passes go live at midnight anymore, I believe just recently it changed to 7am EST. Someone can come correct me if I'm wrong.

Don't bother until 7am est, that is when the fast pass times are populated each day now.

When and why did that change? Now I really don't stand a chance since I work.

It changed last month. The rationale was IT staff were available at 7am ET if problems arose; not available at midnight.

You should still be good. I went in a few days later and there were still fast passes for the all rides for all times. If not , keep checking. I wanted Saaana dinner, and couldnt' get it for a few days, finally one came open.

If you can do it on your phone, I found the MDX app worked very well for mine. And I also booked mine just 2 or 3 days ago and had no problem getting good times for 4 of us, including FEA on the 4th day of our trip. I say that because I know that day is also day 10 of some trips and so many FP were likely gone. Good Luck!

I did my FP+ this morning for the first time and I also made the same observations. Only wishing I knew to click on view details and more times during the first 5 minutes this morning

Thanks for the tips everyone -- especially the click details -- I'm a relatively avid planner, and my FP+ dates are coming up in a couple of weeks. A little nervous to be honest. Does anyone know of the best place to see the latest "screen shots" to get a better feeling around look and feel of the experience online? Thank you.

I learned the hard way that if you aren't staying at a disney resort you are limited to booking only 7 days worth of fast passes. If you do stay at a resort you can book up to 14. We have a 12 day trip. At least, I got good fast passes at times I wanted for the most part for the first 7 days. I booked at 30 days out for each day.

As long as you don't confirm the dates, you can look around now to see what it is like for days that are 30/60 days out.

You won't be able to look or practice if you have booked a "package." Only those with separately linked tickets, not a package, can check to see what is available.

Thanks! In retrospect, how silly of me :-) ... I will give it a shot!
