So, this trip in May was sprung upon me just under a week ago. I can clearly recall (much to my distress) our family saying at the end of our trip in May 2004 that we likely wouldn't be going back till 2006...but...but...we've gone EVERY YEAR since 1996!! we cannot and will not break that tradition. After my inner tantrum i sat back and waited....and lo and behold they come to me in January saying that we should go to Disney this May!! *takes a bow* thank you, thank you, i know my family well, we just CANT stay away that long. Did i mention i love my parents and the fact that they take me to disney so frequently? They're the best, truly!
After a day of discussion
I had practically mapped out the entire trip. I had pulled out my disney binder, crunched numbers and went to them with serveral options
Needless to say they were amazed and couldn't help but laugh. Im totally in the groove when it comes to WDW planning.
Initially the plan was to stay 6 nights at Coronado Springs and 2 nights at WL. Then the mother of all miracles occured. I saw a thread about email codes on the boards...and it dawned on me! I had deleted an email because the pomotion only ran till april and at that point we weren't even planning to go to WDW.
RED ALERT!!
Must check deleted items and PRAY that i didn't delete it (especially after hearing that there was fine print indicating that the code could be applied to dates in May and June)
Well i found it
and called CRO. This is when our plans changed dramatically. It was this past Sat night and my parents were out. I called my dad to see if he would let me book if i found a good deal. He told me where his credit card was and told me to go ahead and call.
Spoke to the sweetest CM in the world and was quoted a rate of.....*holds her breath as the drum roll starts.....* $181/night Wilderness Lodge Courtyard View!!! Ok i'm sold!! So now we are staying 8 nights at WL
I had the CM note on the reservation that we would prefer an Inner Courtyard room (I'm going to call back and request South Wing, 4th floor as our preference) They've also noted that my parents will be celebrating their 25th anniversary
So im crossing my fingers in hopes of some Disney Magic and pixie dust for the special occassion.
For now that's it (as im at school and running short on time lol) But I'll update the thread later tonight with more Itinerary details!

Yes..i know that we are at Epcot EVERY night...we may go to MK one of those nights, but we are Epcot people that just happen to love WL. This is why we get a rental car, so we can go where ever we want, whenever we want. There MAY be one night where we go to the MK, but to us it is just too crowded in the evenings. We tend to go with the flow on our vacations and sometimes hit more than 2 parks in a day. Especially the days with Typhoon, we may hit MGM for a few rides before heading to Epcot for the evening. But a majority of our park time is, and always has been, spent at Epcot
Ok...I've started 2 trip reports on the DIS and I've never finished one!!
