HI! First (tink) I can not believe I did not know about this PTR!! What a fun story! I am so glad you two will be able to meet.

I read your last post and I really hope that Chris is feeling better Going to the ER is NO fun!! I am sure he will feel much better now, though.

I just got caught up and read about Chris -- I hope you guys get some answers soon, that's so scary, I hope he gets better soon! My mom actually had to have her gallbladder out back in September and she had a pretty quick recovery, so I hope that it is the same for Chris if it comes to that

Both of my parents have had their gallbladder out and it's an easy surgery, luckily. Thanks girl!!

I'm so glad that you are on the road to getting some answers about what is wrong with Chris. I'm glad that he listened to you & went to the doctor! Most guys hate going to the doctor & won't go. Please keep us posted on how he is doing.

Just went through the whole gall bladder thing with my dad last June. NIGHTMARE!! Same exact thing with the ER- hours and hours of watching him writhe in pain- FINALLY got the offending organ taken out, and he's like a new man.

Hope you get some answers and solution soon!!!

Okay-I never post, but I have to tell you that the surgery is absolutely necessary. A couple of years ago, I had the same thing happen to me. I got a stone caught in my duct, which gave me full-blown pancreatitis. My numbers were "through the roof". I was in the hospital for 2 weeks and on a feeding tube for a week after I left. I didn't eat anything but sips of water and ice chips for 3 weeks straight! At the time, my system was so screwed up that I couldn't even get my gall bladder out until weeks later, once everything settled down. Tell him to have the surgery as soon as possible-don't delay at all. The surgery (compared to the pancreatitis) is a breeze.

Thank you so much for your input. I wish they would just take the damn thing out. We'll know more later today. I'm glad to hear you're all better now.

Alright well thank you again everyone for your well wishes for Chris! Thanks to lovely insurance companies, the test Chris was supposed to have done Monday didn't get done until Thursday. He had to drive about 50 minutes to get to the place that the test (from Eastern Suffolk County to middle Nassau County for anyone whose familiar with Long Island) because that was the only office that could get him in last week. Still not that big of a deal because his follow up at the surgeon isn't until today at 3:15. We're hoping they'll know something this time and we'll find out whether he needs surgery or what he can do to stop the pain. Pray that we get answers today!!

So on the trip side of things, Tinkgurl and I are both into the 40 day range!! 48 days for Chris and I and 45 days til Tink and family leave. And since today is June 1st, we can officially say we're going to WDW next month!!! We're both overjoyed!!

In addition, it's been a crazy few weeks it has been for both Tink and I! Since she and her fiance have been home from school, things have been crazy around there. Just thought I'd share some of the things that have been going on there...

Sis's Prom was at the end of April:

For Mother's Day, Sis and I had a family friend take our photos since she does them professionally. Mom cried when she opened them, haha. Here's one of my favorites:

May 16th was Sis's Baccalaurette for Graduation:

Since I've been home, I've been able to spend a lot more time with the little guy. I was watching him one day and Fiance came over to mow Uncle's yard, clean out his garage, and his shed. Of course, the little guy had to help him do everything. It was so cute! Here they are mowing:

This past weekend was especially busy for us! Sis had her B/F's Prom:

Then, the next day she had Graduation!:

This Sunday is her Graduation party, then we will be able to relax and plan for our trip!!

Tink has sure been a busy girl!!

I, on the other hand, basically do the same boring routine day in and day out I have been little by little buying some new clothes for the trip. Chris and I were in the mall a few days ago and I bought us each a new shirt from the Disney store. This is Chris'

And of course mine isn't on the Disney store website. I'll take a picture of it soon but my camera is still in the back of Chris' car from when we were supposed to go to the Yankee game. It's pink though and has sparkle pink Minnie on the front. In addition, as of May 21st we're all paid off!! Hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day Weekend! Now I'm off to lay outside in the sun and relax!

Update:

Okkk so let's get on with the show, the good important stuff of the trip...aka, ADRs!! Everyone on the disboards knows dining reservations are a huge part to an amazing Disney World vacation. We'll go through both Kristen's and mine.

This is so exciting for us to have all our ADR's planned. It's also exciting that we are eating so many places together! Please let us know if we are eating at any of your favorite places!

Just found your PTR and noticed we will be at the world at the same time. We have reservations for 1900 Park Fare at 6:05 on the same night.

I plan on starting my PTR in the next week or so. My computer crashed just recently so I am having to restore everything because I hadn't backed up recently.
