Teambuilding ideas at Disneyland

I will be going to Disneyland with a large team from work in December and am looking for creative ideas for an informal teambuilding event. Our group will be relatively large (60-70 adults) but we will break it up into smaller groups to compete throughout the day. Obviously the fact that we will be in the happiest place on earth is already a huge bonus towards generating team goodwill and excitement but in order to convince TPTB at work that this is a good thing that we should do more often, I want to be able to organize some fun group challenges and competitions. Some ideas I am already working on include:

  • Funny team photos on specific rides (Space Mountain, etc)
  • Scavenger hunt for something (I don't know what yet!)
  • Most team photos with Disney characters

Please help me come up with fun ideas to impress my leadership at work with our excellent team spirit!

I do scavenger hunts for my adult kids when they go with their friends. PM if you need ideas.

There are often groups that do Disney days and take a large group photo. Often they are in front of the castle but I've also seen them on the steps in front of the train station. Another idea is to have everyone ride the Mark Twain together. Similar to Fantasmic, everyone faces the shore and waves while someone on land videotapes the boat going by.

Be careful of what you do if you haven't cleared it with Disneyland. Especially anything that involves your entire group being together (like a Castle Photo).
I have a meeting planner who is working with Disney's group sales team but our group size is too small for them to care about other than facilitating ticket sales and park reservations for the group.

Come up with something related to your business if possible, which will tie it more to work in a way. For example, if you are in sales or marketing, some sort of scavenger hunt related to finding different corporate product placements, with photos.
