We just got back from WDW and my daughter bought one of those velcro crowns at Tinkerbell's Treasures. They're the ones that you pick out "snap-on" jewels and Princesses, etc from the bin and decorate the crown yourself. Anyway, of course we lost one (the castle) before we even got on the plane home and I would like to replace it. I have poked around online (ebay, etc) but have had no luck. Does anyone know where I can find these? Or maybe a suggestion as to how I can narrow my search?
Thanks!!

There is a number you can call to buy anything you see in the parks: 407-363-6200.

Aren't they something like Jibitz? Maybe you could find replacements where they sell those?

I hope you find the peices to repair the crown. This sounds like something my little one may like to do.. can you tell me where and how much??

They sell them at Tinkerbell's Treasures, a shop in Fantasyland (1st and only time I've been in there.) There are different colored crowns to choose from, I think most have colored fluffy "feather down" on them, too. They wrap around your head and velcro to close, so you can easily adjust the size. I think they start at $10.00 for the base crown, and there are empty "snaps" for you to fill. There are many small bins filled with all kinds of snap-on jewels and shapes (each of the princesses, the castle, tiny fabric rosettes, etc). Many seem to be similar to the style of the popular trading pins (though I am not completely sure, I know very little about the pins). Anyway, the snap-ons vary in price, some are about $1.00 each, and some are $1.75 and up. I think the crown we chose held 10 or 12 snap-on pieces. You can also add a veil to hang in the back (?) - we skipped that. Overall, I think I paid around $25.00 with all the snaps dd chose (it adds up quickly!) I was thinking it was a little pricey, but the princess and castle snaps are really lovely. Plus, this was bought with special money Gramma gave her for anything she wanted, and dd was in heaven putting it together! :cloud9:
Well, sorry, I think I was awfully long-winded in the explanation...but that's just the way I am. Good luck if you decide to get one. I'm going to try and call the number I was given so I can replace the piece we lost. :sad1:

I've also seen these in some of the resort gift shops. The Grand Floridian and the shop at the Boardwalk. Perhaps they may have them in other places too?!

They had these in DTD at the main shop too (World of Disney). They were over by all the Princess dresses. My dd made one 4 years ago when we went for the MNSSHP to go with her Jasmine Costume. It was fun. She still has it and we've not lost any of the snaps yet...knock on wood. I would think the best place to get one replaced would be either to call the number listed by 720L or having someone that is leaving on a trip grab you one.
