me and Dh will be at Epcot over Memorial Day weekend and I definitely will be walking around to see the various flowers and topiaries.. I have seen something that mentions Tinkerbells Fairy Garden... What is this?? and where in Epcot is it located??

Last year it was located on the far right path as you head into World Showcase. It was a small garden that had a topiary of Tink and as you walked through there was a little stick house and a table and chairs made out of logs.

Toward the end of the festival the stick house was mostly broken as it had obviously been touched and not just looked at.

It was a cute little garden maze.

Thanks.. Now I know where to look for it.. Cant wait! :cool1:

It is easy to overlook some of the topiaries?
Do we get a map/event listing?

We have gone to the Flower and Garden show over the past few years. Some things are in different locations each year and they have different activities for kids each year. They have small book type flyers when you enter the park and it lists all the different things going on at the show. It give you a list of the different concerts, the different gardening shows going on and all the things to do at the show. In the past every year they have Minnies Butterfly garden which is a large net tent like thing filled with butterflys. It is usually near Test Track. Usually all the different countries have topieries pertaining to them (pandas in China) - we have seen the panda in China each year but each year they are in a different spot in China. Make sure you also check out the ladybug release - it teaches about natural pesticides and is usually done two or three times a day - everyone is given a box with ladybugs and you release them.

Tink is actually larger IRL than she appears in the photo!

Where do we find out when/where the ladybug release is?

I'm looking at last years book - this is a 20 page book that gives you all info about the F&G Show. There is a page labeled Especially for Kids - This list different activities - one thing listed is the ladybug release. It was done daily at 1:00 and 3:00. There is also a map of Epcot and it lists where all the toperaries are and all the activities. The ladybug release was held in the Outpost area of World Showcase. It also states that Tinkerbell's Garden was new that year. I remember the year before they had a Farmer Mickey area so I am not sure if there will be something different this year. Remember I am look at the book from 2006 - make sure to pick up a current book when you go this year.

Also, make sure you look for Hidden Mickeys - there are some in the different toparies. Two years ago there was a Hidden Mickey made with red flowers on the back of Tinks skirt - they used the same topary last year but the Hidden Mickey was not there. There are some in the large butterfly topary outside Minnie Butterfly house.

Keep in mind that the displays and themes do change year to year. I think Tink has had that garden the past few years, prior, it was Minnie's. Not sure about this year.

Oh ladybugs!

How pretty!

I'll try to convince my parents that we need to do that hehehe

:thanks:

I just noticed that the official ladybug times were now posted (on the home of these boards wdwinfo.com)
They are 1 and 3 pm daily.
They also posted a neat guide to all the special things to look for--like tours of France's fragrance garden at 2, 4 and 6!
I am planning to copy it and tape inside my passporter!:)

thanks for all the great information. I am so excited to be there this year during the Garden Festival. It is usually really packed?
