NOV 6
DH, myself, DD (6) and DS (5)
Ate at Whispering Canyon at 7:30 and Uncle Dave was our server, my kids harrassed him the entire time!! He kept yelling, "CANT YOU SEE I AM WORKING OVER HERE!!", the kids enjoyed the pony races and the food was good. We would return. As a matter of fact, I wish we had done a dinner or lunch here.
Today was our last Epcot day, and we had a great time. We did the Living Seas, The Land, Figment, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Norway and Mexico.
At about 2 we were REALLY hungry and could not wait for our California Grill ressie of 7:10 so... we tried Alfredos. Now I read the reviews on the DIS and they have not always been kind to Alfredos, but... WE LOVED IT!!!
Our server was Leonardo, he was CUTE!! We told him we were on the silver package and he said, "Let me take care of it". We said, "OK!!"
He brought out Buffalo Mozzarella and tomato with olive oil, antipasto AND calamari! Everything was amazing.
He then brought out our entrees, well... I received Osso Bucco, DH got Fettucini with Shrimp in Vodka sauce and the kids had chicken nuggets. DS slept through the entire dinner. (More about that later) If we thought the appetizers were good, the entrees were even better!! For dessert we had Chocolate Mousse, Strawberry Ladybug Mousse, Italian Strawberry Cheesecake and Tiramisu. We sampled everything and we were not disappointed. This was one of our favorite meals. It was a happy surprise.
We went back to the WL and then took the boat to MK to see SpectroMagic. WELL.... while ON the boat
DS throws up!!
We were seated in the front of the boat and you should have seen the passengers scramble to get away!! He had had alot of chocolate milk, need I say more? It was bad, really bad. Luckily, not much landed on him. The boat staff was wonderful.
We proceeded to the stroller rental. We also bought DS a sweatshirt. He fell asleep immediately and we took our spot on the "island" near the train depot. The parade started soon after arrival. It was magical. DS even managed to watch most of it. (He said he was sleepy and that he did feel ok.) After SpectroMagic we made our way through the crowd to the Tommorowland Bridge to watch Wishes. Oh, the spot was perfect. Tinkerbell went right over us and we captured it all on video.
After the fireworks we were on our way out of the park and we were standing near the Plaza Restaurant when I noticed a sign that said "EXIT". It was a CM only exit and let me tell you we were thrilled to use it. They had CMs lining the way with flashlights moving us along. We were out in no time.
We got to the WL boat dock in time to see ALL of the EWP!!! Oh, the MAGIC!!!
When we got back to the WL, DH packed up most of our stuff. We did manage to get in a full day the following day... sooo stay tuned!
