Does anyone know anything about waking up Tinkerbell at WDW? I've heard that if you're the first one to show up behind a certain shop (at Magic Kingdom?) you can tap a window at the shop and wake up Tinkerbell.

You must be the first person to go into the shop (Tinkerbell's Treasures). If you ask the CMs they will give you a magic wand and they will explain what you say to wake up Tink. There is a small music box on a shelf behind one of the cash registers. The CMs will give out a Magical Moments certificate. It is a really sweet event, my dd's did it once a couple of trips ago. They ask each trip, but the secret is out and it is hard to be the first people there! Oh, by the way, you don't actually see Tink. You hear the sound of her flying around the store.

I recently read about this in two trip reports. Kanga1 was one report. The other was the spencers. I don't know what day to reference. You'll have to read them all the way through. It's enjoyable tho.

Thanks. I'm having trouble getting around this web site.......I thought I could have found SOMETHING about Tinkerbell while searching, but no luck.
